the only reason liquid even would have had a chance at winning that was because of their usual superior coordination. their lineup didn't scale well and they didn't have great wavepush. outside of a fuckup, that win was inevitable for EG. felt like bulba outdrafted kuroky. did anyone think a 10th pick CK was the answer?
Support hero, I think he looks really cool and his abilities are sick. Type of hero someone like cr1t would go ham on.
Damn this is exactly the type of hero I love to play. Also if you can get a sheepstick or bloodthorne late game that will be insanely good It's also now THE Io counter btw.
i dont know how it'll be played in the pro scene, but it seems op as hell and i'll def be building it like an offensive pugna with the ult trying to kill two people. veil/eblade/dagons. and the gpm talent means you dont even need to be super greedy farm-wise to get that.
Edit: nvm was a mistake on the wiki page Would bet a lot of money the standard build is going to be Vessel. It's already a great item that you see in almost every game, gives great sustain for an int hero, and now you can get double value out of an item that has limited charges? Gonna be crazy good.
I thought the answer was going to be veil arcanes ~> aether blink Dagon. His gpm talent will get nerfed.
Man Europeans are the worst. They want to hate on EG so much they're blowing that cr1t thing up to crazy levels and building the drama more than it needs to be. That said, EG vs OG grand finals would have insane atmosphere.
it's really weird Twitch doesn't have final day of TI on main page of featured streams. By comparison they always have OWL/LoL/CS tourneys there. Not like its the biggest tournament in all of esports or anything.
Hope they can bounce back game 2, got outplayed and outdrafted I feel. RTZ on Gyro has not been good, SumaiL Gyro has been.
That sucks. Don’t like OG and def don’t like the Chinese. Drafts were fine I feel but the execution wasn’t great at all.
you guys are crazy for rooting against this OG team. rooting for robotic chinese? i guess brainless support for sumail leads you to crazy things eventually. reminds me of supporting someone else tbh
i thought draft 1 was fine except EG was always on a clock versus the Spec and Alch was shut down too much in mid and then through the late early game/early mid game. They hit their timings too late and Spec was basically free farming. Draft 2 was an obvious outdraft and a really smart answer imo to the early pick Spec that we've been seeing from teams. It's similar to the drow strats teams were deploying earlier in the tourney but Luna can more easily catch up if she's shut down in lane. She simply comes on before Spec and we saw that with the team fight by the mid t2. One lost fight and it's two lanes and gg. I thought that was genius.
yeah, the old EG team (incl. ppd) wore MAGA garbage to some 2016 Chinese tourney. you guys are crazy if you don't enjoy how this OG team plays, though.
They can get fucked for the constant hero line spamming every fucking minute of the game. Makes the game borderline unwatchable for me. Fuck all the teams that constantly did that at this tourney.
Way behind just got done with Day 1 of the ME. Holy shit at that Mineski comeback. I'll catch up eventually
I like Day9. The anti-Day9 reddit circle jerk was bad. He’s better desk host than chobra, who has the personality of room temperature tap water. Day 9 is inferior to Redeye and Machine and probably even with Sheever. Also the Late Night pub show they have been doing has been really entertaining. I can’t help but think replacing djWheat with Day9 would have been an upgrade though. PFlax carries the show rn anyway. I’ll be happy to see spectre nerfed into oblivion post TI though. Fuck that hero.
