From Reddit: With CoL just beating EG their qualifier paths look like this: CoL vs The Dire (PGL Playoff Semifinals Today) CoL vs The Dire (ESL Hamburg UB Quarter Tomorrow) CoL vs The Dire (StarLadder UB Finals Saturday)
Sad Jakiro is probably gonna get nerfed right as I start playing him. Such a good hard support. WIth the talent at 15 dual breath does 600 damage which is insane. Plus you can get a soul ring and instantly clear jungle camps just with it and liquid fire.
gonna be sad when Lich gets nerfed into the ground but it's needed. He's being played or banned in almost every pro series. I think we'll get a big patch, I'd assume a couple of new items or massive item changes with the 2 new heroes and hero changes.
Wouldn't be surprised if coldtoad just nerfs sacrifice's cooldown into oblivion and makes it give more mana. Would still make it a good hero but not destroy the other team's early game so much.
Also Lion has always been my favorite support to play but he's been in a bad spot for about the past year, he's a poor man's SS and there's about 4-5 pos5 who are much much better than him, so hope he gets a big buff. The talent with the + 300 finger dmg + his Aghs upgrade gives him crazy end game relevance, but again, SS does everything he does, better, and has solo split push potential.
Nah, ice armor is amazing and chain frost wrecks certain heroes. He just goes from first pick/ban worthy to situational.
Qualifiers are crazy, anything can happen. They are playing multiple qualifiers and multiple bo3/bo5 every day all day for several days in a row, if you get tired or tilted you can make mistakes easily
Complexity is basically the same team from a year ago when they were at least respectable, except now they traded a bad offlaner for a solid offlaner. They're not bad and losing to them with a newish roster (EG and The Dire) isn't the end of the world. Losing to BSJ's team is embarrassing though. That team is talented enough to win that match by randoming 5 heroes.
Maybe they're only taking the ESL quals seriously since it's the major. I think the others they're participating in are minor right now right?
PPD on stream playing support slardar after his carry Veno dies in the first minute: "Veno I think you should play support and I should just start farming the lane. You seem pretty fucking bad at clicking buttons on your hero."
Also miles and I have 10 games played together in the past 2 weeks with a 30% win rate. Lolololol. I should probably stop playing shitty heroes in dual queue.
Not familiar with them, but sounds like Peter went out and got himself a huge NA sponsor. Good for them.
Valve is dropping the hammer on bot abusers/account boosters. Repeat offenders are getting 8 year bans lmao fucking finally
I mean he had Reso, but he switched to OG last minute. The new OG would be really good with Reso. Old OG seems to be struggling to make it work.
rtz is probably 1 if we're going by popularity. Dude gets 20k viewers every time he streams. PPD is fairly polarizing. Fear #2. There's nobody that doesn't like him, players and fans alike.
Why would popularity mean anything? NA wasn't anything until PPD arrived and he led them to 3 straight TI top 3s. He has to be the GOAT NA dota personality. Fear and Grant are debatable. RTZ only get any credit for TI4. But he abandoned NA. Multiple times.
I mean you used the term "hero." That means idolized or admired. Popularity is is pretty much everything.
