I've got 2 wins in my last 12 games, thanks force50. I even stopped playing support to carry again with Sven, only to get 2 games in lane with a melee support vs a Bristleback/Riki and bristleback/drow dual lane.

I am historically awful with supports especially squishy ones, so the fact I finished with a positive kill/death was shocking. Was really fun actually. First time I've actually enjoyed a sky game.

Also, I cannot remember playing a worse game than that drow game. I had 280 gpm. what in the actual fuck.

Finished strong with a riki game and carried Brick on my back and our shitty 480 gpm alch (who went 1-13).

They are about the 4th best team right now, so their placing isn't really much of a surprise

 

Who is our resident Zeus spammer? This week's dota wtf has Zeus/Kotl combo, Zeus gets chakra'd so he gets double W with no CD and can nearly instakill anyone at level 7.

 

I finally got my battle pass and plan to start playing again this week. Haven't played since 8/20 ouch. Maybe I'll finally get around to calibrating.

I was up early today and spent the morning selling off all my duplicate hats from last TI. Was able to level the battle pass to 140 (started with a level 75 one). 10 more levels til that sweet sweet terrain.

I need to get everyone added on that steam account, those that want it anyway. I'm very scrubby and don't play that often. Mostly weekends or drunk.

Going to try and improve, so I can try the international ranked before TI is over.

 

Skiddly what is your preferred q/w/e build for invoker? I've been playing around with different builds and I think what I like best is one point in exort to start because invoker's early damage is so bad, and then a standard alternating quas/wex afterward. More exort would be really good for lane, but I'm not great with the forge spirits and I'll never expect my team to communicate well enough to take advantage of sunstrike.

This is a good patch for EG, jungle timers going back to normal benefit a greedy team like that. They looked really good both series and SumaiL really is the best player in the world. In my opinion.

I like to play full exort. Start with a point in e, then a value point in w for alacrity. After that I pretty much just alternate q and e. Maybe pick up another w at some point in there if I feel like alacrity is really strong for that game. I feel like sunstrike, forge spirits, and cold snap is enough to get you through early game. If I get ganked a few times I move to jungle pretty early with force spirits and alacrity. Even the level 1 alacrity is plenty for jungling.

As far as sunstrike goes I just try to watch the minimap and listen for stuns. If I hear someone get stunned I just throw the sunstrike on top. EZ kills and no communication necessary.

 

The new Team Freedom (recently were formed as "isGG" )is dumpstering CoL in the Beat invitational grand finals (lol tier3 tourney). They could legitimately be the best Tier 2 NA team behind EG/NP/Thunderbirds. Look better than Onyx atm

 

Yeah they 2-0'd coL already in the upper bracket finals too. CCnC is a really underrated mid.

 

Sneyking and Stanking are also criminally underrated.

Nyx nyx nyx set is amazing. As is the Sven, undying, Kunkka and Veno. The batrider one is hilarious. Otherwise not a huge fan of the others.

 

I like the Clock and Sand King ones a lot too
