we were fucking demolishing the other team, and then all of a sudden only our team starts dc'ing like crazy. dota shutting down constantly, constantly lag issues

idk what it's been lately but i just can't win any fucking games solo queue

i first picked roaming tusk last game, rest of team picks roaming pudge and support dark seer to support weaver bot, and a necro mid.

we have no top, so i'm forced to top lane against PA, and proceed to die like 3 times before their mid snowballed and wiped us out

Makes me wonder how we're able to win mmr when we queue together...

 

I would have just roamed with pudge and encouraged DS to offlane.

Getting that solo xp, weaver would have been fine.

You have perfect initiation and control with that snowball/rot combo. That would force their support to rotate and hopefully tilt. Just being off the map and effectively roaming pressures lanes indirectly.

But then again all of that requires communication and coordination so lol.

I've only played a couple of games in the past 2 weeks. The urge to ez mid jaja is rising slowly.

The +18 base damage on shaman is pretty huge. Gave him a nice bump to his win rate with his laning stage sucking a whole lot less.

Lina with some nice buffs as well.

Randomly decided to play OD tonight. Really fun, not quite a "good" hero, but I always completely forget about him. Even pulled even in mid vs a viper, call that a win, then carry the team to a W.

FYI opendota has a new "story" tab in each parsed match data, pretty awesome. States who won or lost each lane and recaps all major team fights/towers/tax and gold swings. P amazing

I've learned despite not being as good at fight decisions and reflexes as a lot of younger players, I just farm insanely effecient for my MMR. Just gotta pick farm heavy heroes and it's ez gg

If I was playing solo queue with a bunch of random, I would take the first team.

If I was playing with even the smallest amount of communication and a FV that could build manta/diffusal, team two all day.

Core silencer is actually pretty good now it seems. Especially now that Atos sucks a whole lot less.

 

You mean the hardest, infinitely scaling pure damage dealing carry in the game is actually good?

 

Yeah silencer is a ridiculous hero if you can coordinate at all since his ult is super OP when timed right.

Also Abbadon is just great right now. We'll see if his small strength nerf hurts him too much after this last patch.

 

Euls during Abaddon's ult has been a great counter on the pro scene. But that would require our shit-tier players to consider buying an item that doesn't add damage so...
