i think thats a component but the explanation from both could be as simple as their systems are automated so it went back up (it seems like razers is gone again?) or their legal team said they shouldn't act without more concrete info etc to avoid legal hits from docs team
He's done some, to put it mildly, insensitive asian impressions that are easily searchable on YouTube. Wouldn't be surprised if there were more
i dont find the racism stuff feasible either unless he was like a dues paying member in the KKK or something so many mainstream folks have REALLY suspect histories that haven't led to bans
I buy the new platform theory. With Mixer dead and some of the big names free agents, now is the best time to do it
the initial years of twitch was people building entire fan bases largely around racial agitation jokes, sodapoppin a big example who avoids watching any old clips of his that he doesn't know what they are because half his stream was that
I don’t buy the new streaming company at least not with Ninja and Shroud attached. I think something like that would take months and months of planning. Unless they’ve had the knowledge of Mixer going under for that long I just don’t see that theory as feasible.
his subreddit is pretty convinced it's for talking a bunch about David Icke who is a Corona truther/holocaust denier/etc and Doc likely got in trouble for his earlier conspiracy theories around 5g/corona so it was his final strike makes some sense but not for the cascading advertiser hits
if that's what it ends up being, twitch is gonna be getting rid of lots of people I don't watch many small streamers, but just from an internet perspective it would be almost impossible to say that's not a rampant part of twitch just like it is any other part of the internet
I hope they do it, it’s how some young people think it’s alright to have some prejudice against people for their color or upbringing
Don't buy the new streaming platform either. He just signed his exclusive contract just a few months ago. If he's helping start a new platform, and encouraging streamers on his current platform to switch, he would be opening himself up to so much trouble with breaching a multi-million dollar contract.
oh I completely agree my point was more I think we would have seen a lot more streamers get permabanned in this regard and not just 1 person
Dr getting clowned by his wife is some of the best content he's made. I don't find him remotely funny but I have watched for the sake of seeing if any games are worth a shit - they aren't.
i should probably start streaming because getting clowned by my gf is my forte. And nobody finds me remotely funny. Seems like a perfect business opportunity
Why does cheating on his wife keep being brought up? That’s something people from all walks of life, in a variety of fields, do everyday. It’s a bizarre take that the average gamer would clutch their pearls at that.
Banging somebody other than your wife is a personal deal. I think where it gets complicated is who he banged.
well if you’re buying into that theory is that it was with another Twitch streamer who is now using that incident to try and get leverage on a new deal.
Because their fans comprise mostly of simps that would never dare cheat on their significant other. If they could just get one first
Yes. never had any issue lying in 38 years, I don’t see this as an obstacle to my success going forward
Yeah I expected something worse if people haven't been mentioning it, like 8chan proudboy or pervy sex stuff level, not that. That stuff seems more like it would be a warning than permanently banning
Ten pages in and I’m still confused why this guy is popular. He seems like a more of a piece of shit uncle Rico parody.
I don’t understand how a lot of popular streamers are popular. Don’t really find them entertaining/funny
I don’t watch much that isn’t FIFA so not much. Plus if I don’t like them, I just don’t watch. Ninja, Dr Disrespect, Castro are a few that immediately come to mind. Castro and NickT28 on FIFA. Castro is pretty big overall but Nick isn’t as big on an overall level
David Meyler is probably my most interesting and favorite. He’s good enough athlete that he was a legitimate premier league player but mostly played in Championship. He’d play a real life match on the weekend and also stream playing weekend league and finish top 100 in the world. Believe he captained Ireland a few times as well. Would answer questions about playing against guys in real life.
Honestly always just assumed most of his fans were 15 or below. Not like I’m turning on nickelodeon talking shit to the 12 year olds who like it.
Very limited because I live I fear of getting sucked into this world. I don’t need something else to distract me from being productive at this point.
Doc was good for a while. He talks shit to all his friends and is obnoxious and over the top. It’s funny but it wears itself out.
I'm not really a doc guy tbh but I found this funny and maybe it will give you a glimpse why other people like him so much. He responds to other top cod streamers saying he's not that good.
