It's wild how, after Dave Cobb, I'm basically assuming anything Sadler produces in that genre is gonna be awesome.
Is touring with one of the biggest female rock and roll stars of the modern era supposed to be embarrassing or something?
We aren't getting Isbell with Sheryl Crow on the west coast, she's going to be with Keb Mo supporting. We do have this tour with a some female artist headlining
I've given up on him. Mostly due to the activist and Twitter stuff. His wife is annoying also. I saw him live 3 weeks after he left DBT. 20+ times after.
Do you like Jason Isbell? I’ve been a big DBT fan ever since the release of their album English Oceans. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual.
I believe the line is “and all them politicians, they’re all lying sacks of shit.” Key word being all, my man.
Of course not. He just has become insufferable. I don't care that he's a lefty. I'm sure the vast majority of artists I like are lefty. He was the "pioneer" for vax mandates for concerts which was assinine. Fortunately, it enabled me to get an easy refund on a show ticket I bought and then lost interest in attending. Also doesn't help that his latest album was meh.
not to mention the venue's employees that need to keep putting on shows and his whole team thats on road and getting positive test means wasting a shit ton of money and time.
Yeah fuck him for not letting unvaxxed morons into his concerts to shut everything down after two shows
Sturgill literally made fun of them cause the stereotype holds true. If you can only listen to one genre of music you're a fucking idiot who needs to broaden your horizons
I saw Sturgill and Tyler in Charleston which was the last show before Covid shut everything down. Great show but half the people left when Sturgill came on. We moved up to the 2nd row and Sturgill put on one of the best and loudest shows I have ever been too. He played Sound and Fury straight through and then some older stuff. Amazing show but even more amazing after learning he probably had Covid and still put on that performance.
Naw, his original fans not liking that album should be expected honestly. The album just wasn't that good. It was "good" b/c it was Sturgill being different/loud
