I am constantly amazed and happy at the levels of nerddom some have gone. Fucking detailed sketch of King's Landing? I won't be getting anything done for the next 30 minutes.

Thats a sweet picture. Did the Targaryens just store their dragons in the dragon pit or did they do like fights or something else in there?

 

just like a dog house type thing, only for dragons. but the enclosed space stunted their growth and all that so once they'd settled in to kings landing the dragons never got to their full size

 

the 7 spiked towers surrounding the building lead me to believe that its the sept of baelor. maybe the dome to the right is the dragon pit off in the distance.

 

Where is the tower of the hand?

 

For some reason I thought it was it's on compound.

 

it's in the red keep but not inside maegors hold fast, which is the "inner keep" of the castle which I would guess is kind of that taller section to the left.

 

Yea it's easier to see on the big picture than the sketch now that I look at it.

 

What's the little building out to the left of the Red Keep by itself connected by a walkway?

 

Guessing it's a lighthouse or a laundry schute.
