Just tried this in a practice mode and unfortunately it makes the sail play even harder to defend. Helps with the right side of the play but you have to man the RB with your DE. It is the computer though.
This guy is nuts. He won the tournament this year. His switch stick skill on defense is absurd. The way he's able to identify the open man and switch stick to that guy just breaks my brain.
I feel like a Cover 3 would deal with those plays fairly well, no? I think the drag route on the x under could be an issue when the receiver would be handed off to the other zone but if you’re usering a MLB, you’re probably in that neighborhood anyway and can just take over that route. The three deep should be able to handle the deep routes because each route is in a different third of the field. If you set your secondary for underneath, that hard flat would also be taken care of.
The most frustrating part about the play for me is I’ll run it and I can make it work but it’s not a sure thing for me. I’ll play some guys and they just hit it over and over. It’s probably a cheese play somehow
I love when you add a random three star, ranked in the 800's to fill out your class, and he comes in with impact trait and off the charts skill caps.
so after playing 35+ seasons or whatever it is, one thing (and it's so minor) still irks me the stadium should empty in the 4th of blowouts. the old game had this. and while it's cool poorly performing programs have half full stadiums at kickoff, the place should thin out when I'm up 55-3 in the 4th lol
i started getting back into dynasty mode over the weekend. i'm 4 seasons into this new one and i finally began to figure out recruiting. i had landed some top-10 classes and made the CFP so i decided to take some swings at 5*/4* top 100 players and now im on week 8 watching my entire prospect list commit to other schools. gonna have to rely on the portal this offseason

Yea, might be right. I guess he'll have to user the deep DB covering those routes and run up and get the pick!
I thought it capped at 30 seasons? Also, it bothers me that northwestern still has the 2020 Big ten West champions banner prominently displayed or whatever even after I've won 15 national championships for them
it does cap at 30 but I've played 3 different dynasties at this point. so I was referring to my cumulative number of seasons across them all and yes! banners not updating is annoying
Oh lord, that's another thing. His ability to create his own shell is 1.5 seconds is absurd. He's not alone in that, but damn. They need to just let you design your own plays at this point. You shouldn't have to input player specific actions on every single snap.
I’ve never used it because idk but you just move the right analog stick in the direction you want to switch to
You can use right stick when in pass coverage to switch to a guy on the other side of the field. More precise than just hitting B/O
I didn't know which post to quote for this, but this guy's video is another reason I don't play against other users. How is it remotely enjoyable to just run the same exact play over and over again?
Do you guys use sliders at all? My league is trying to figure something out. But all the players who just exploit 99 speed (imo) are all pushing back on that. Apparently they have fun hanging 100 on the CPU and playing a couple user games a year. It’s kind of turned boring because it’s basically a couple user games, then rematches in the CFP. Some guys are just going wild with dumb shit though that I didn’t even consider lol some guys are basically just recruiting players to keep other players from getting them. A couple people stacked 30+ prospects just to get a Top 5 class and add extra XP. As someone who picked a non blue blood with minimal recruiting hours it’s not very fun knowing I’ll never catch-up to them because I don’t have 95+ speed at every position.
In recruiting, I wish “Athletes” had the variety of feasible positions they could play like in the older games rather than the player being rated much higher at one position that it doesn’t make sense to play them anywhere else (particularly skill positions).
For the most part, but he's changing like 5-7 guys coverage + choosing how to shade + guessing pass all before the snap. And then processing the play super quick to switch stick to the open guy. Jump to the 5:00 mark, see all the times his quick adjustment screen pops up, then see the switch stick INT. He's just nuts.
I’ll be honest I don’t even know what half the adjustments even do lol I think I would have paid extra for a version with tutorials for people who didn’t play Madden the past decade
I skipped around on this video and good god the guys like this are the worst to play against online. I beat probably 7ish out of 10 people that I play online if they play relatively normal, but if they're doing all of this shit and they're actually good at it I basically can't win. devine I suggest watching this to beat me, because it's the recipe.
I’ve played the crap out of this game but man does it piss me off. Seems like 90% of the user vs user dynasty games I play in my non-TMB one ends up where I give up some BS TD that ends up being the difference. Just now had a guy throw into quadruple coverage and score a TD. Then another TD where his RB was completely surrounded and he somehow “trucked” over 2 guys and broke free for a 70+ yard TD. All while my DBs dropped 3-4 wide open picks.
Used Jacksonville states playbook and went undefeated throwing 3 total touchdowns and 0 picks. 4K+ rushing yards. That was fun
