then I'd play him at ROLB and rush DE LOLB is the 2nd LB in a traditional Nickel if I'm not mistaken unless you adjust your SubLB depth chart; then you can play them where ever you want
What is Richardson's archetype? BTK rating? I'd probably use him and Bibbs as the bellcows and the 99 speed guy as my gadget/Reggie Bush type. He'd get all the jet sweeps and stuff.
Richardson is a receiving back. He's a converted WR that I was trying to re-roll but was listed as a broken "slot" archetype WR when I went to go move him back...so he got stuck at RB. I'm honestly considering a rotation of Bibbs at #1; the platinum shifty RB at #2; and then the 99 speed receiving back as #3.
So apparently even if you turn the setting about editing players to "commissioner only" in a online dynasty, people can still edit their players height and weight without anyone knowing about it. Maybe the stupidest shadiest shit they could have added to the game. Could literally add a few inches to every WR/TE/DB on your roster and nobody would probably know
Are these the only things you can edit? I shouldn’t be surprised but it is still pretty amazing how much random stuff EA messed up or hasn’t fixed.
I was just randomly thinking about this but a few of you guys were talking about throwing picks all the time. What camera angle do you use? All 22 or wide are the only options and all 22 is the Best to Read a defense (obviously )
I feel like the past couple days I’ve had a lot more weird uncovered drops and the HB angle screen keeps falling incomplete inexplicably.
I was down 28-7 with 1:30 left in the 3rd. Came close to quitting after a pick 6 by a DT after my QB was hit, on top of a fumble for 6 in the 1h. But guy wasn't good so I kept going and pulled that shit off lol. Rolled off 27 straight.
Playing PSU in round 1 of the playoffs, about to go down 21-14 right before the half. Had to answer for his run game, just gashing me on the outside. He caused the game and I heard him unmute his mic. Thought he was about to talk shit. Man got called into work and had to concede the game, was just saying gg's. Got extremely lucky bc that was going to be a shootout.
Got smoked by UM in round 2. Knew I was toast when I dropped 2 INT in double coverage on the 1st possession and then fumbled when I tried to slide but it let him hit stick me mid slide on the next possession.
I tried, got halfway into it and he got rocked. That's a flag irl. Hope they fix it next year. It's super delayed this year.
Sometimes the bs kills you, sometimes it bails you out. This guy was probably the best user defensive player I've ever played. He baited me into 4 INT. But on offense he was a complete turd. He ran 1 play over and over. Inside WR on a drag and the RB on a wheel. It's a rollout, so play man and he just runs with the QB. Play zone and he hits the drag or waits for the RB to clear the outside zone and throws it over him. He ran hurry up and flipped from left to right over and over. Ran contain on my DE and got incredibly lucky that my DE dropped and picked it off. Ran out the clock and kicked the game winner.
Can't be too mad, this guy was definitely a better player and I had a much better team. But this made me rage lol. I went down to eat clock and kick a FG with 20 seconds left to take the lead. And then the game did this smh. It's infuriating that the game takes all control away from me, the kicker just hesitates, and it's going to be blocked 100% if the time if the other guy had kick block on.
R3 on play select menu, click your right stick in and it'll bring up a menu. Several options there, chew clock is the top one.
Love the write up, but thought this was common knowledge? I wish EA had sliders similar to NBA where you could alter the ratings of 1-5 stars based on a sliding scale, recruiting difficulty needs sliders. We need more options to make Dynasty as easy, or as realistic as possible. Year 4 of any dynasty, any team and I am way too overpowered without house rules.
I really wish you could mess around with custom playbooks on your laptop and then just download it from there. It's so tedious.
Are any of the generic playbooks worth a shit? Like the Spread, Pro Style, Run & Shoot, etc. I know the team playbooks are better but if you were forced to choose a generic…
I have had decent luck w/ run and shoot but my typical offense that I run is closer to spread than anything. Spread is definitely going to be easier to learn as damn near every football team on the planet runs similar concepts.
They're fun, I just need to get used to their 4-3 defense playbook. 2 WR with 97 speed and a 3rd with 95 speed. They have a backup QB with 95 speed but I feel dirty using him so I normally don't.
Can someone tell me what causes fumbles on speed options? I recently installed it and have had so many big plays I don’t want to just not use it, but I’ve had two scoop and a scores in 4 games. I thought after the first one it was because my QB was engaged with a defender but that wasn’t the case the second time
I have no idea but I’m down to play a game later this weekend where we just run it against each other until we figure it out because I’m in the same boat
Most times it's bc you pitched too late. He doesn't have to be getting hit, but if the defender is right there, sometimes it'll glitch out. So pitch early.
