definitely once I filled up Tactician and Recruiter (just firm handshakes, not elite recruiter) on 25, all remaining points went to Program builder to boost my pipelines 2 levels I never bothered with Architect, CEO, Motivator, Talent Developer, or Strategist but I might now lol
I got the pipeline boosts (in program builder) so most of my pipelines are level 5 but insta commit was never worth it for me. I bought it on my very first dynasty and I go as many instas without it as I did with it
insta commit is definitely not what it was in 14. i do, however, notice a big enough difference to justify not immediately offering a scholarship. that being said, it typically just results in being "done" with recruiting earlier in the season but the end result is similar.
it seems like a good build that has an identity, and the identity is the most important part. that being said, i can't take any "ideal op build" seriously that doesn't tell you to start as a coordinator at uga.
seems like most of the info is here. just missing 4/7 program builder nodes. the groupings seem much more logical than in 25.
Other than in my online dynasties I haven’t played online user vs user since like a month after release. About to play exclusively with Army and see how this goes lol
95% chance you match up with someone with a much better team/ Not many users rocking tier 5 teams tbh. You can select tier 5 opponent and hope though.
Went with Navy who’s T4 and got Coastal game one. This dude ran 2:30 off the clock before I picked him off then my first play the handoff glitched and I fumbled it back. Hot start
I've won 25 straight and just won my 9th chip. I've gone from about 2750 to only 2627 ranked over that stretch lol. I just can't get it to move much. Think I might put it down until 26 comes out just to take a break.
been playing 25. gamepass cloud version so i can play on pc. performance is fine but i wouldnt try playing online this way. interestingly, it's the first time i'm hearing game sound. i sure could have gone on living without learning about this drumline stuff that everyone complained about. not a fan. glad they are getting rid of it. the other sounds are pretty cool though.
Skeptical hippo based off cfb 25 but we'll see. Iirc Hunter was highest at 95 last year. They did do an update at some point and a few got over 95 so maybe the new rosters will be closer to that.
The most unnecessary one handed catch lol my only thing I’m truly skeptical about is the “Heisman tier” ability that they were highlighting when they showed that catch. Just seems like it will be another thing that’s wayyyy OP
I like what I see wear and tear sliders, defensive adjustment changes, and substitutions. Those were all very needed.
Yep, even when EA has a good idea (which this is imo) it seems like it’s always way over done out of the gates.
Cross blitzes in 25 were instant pressure like 90% of the time. The guard would double the DT and the LB would run right past him. Like the guard couldn't see someone coming from off the line when they weren't lined up over them. On the twist they showed, the DE lopped inside and the guard didn't pick him up at all. You know the discord groups will be working overtime the first couple weeks to see how they can manipulate the OL.
I like the idea of it being increased for rivalries and night games, but could do without the added stuff that is already over the top.
Homefield in online play is a terrible idea unless they guarantee everyone 50% home and away. Even then it's just opening up too many games to people getting flooded early and never being able to recover. There's very few QB that can go into top 10 stadiums and not be rattled.
could have an interesting impact on big online dynasties. it might make scheme guru worth the investment. same with that cluster in program builder.
Also makes the program you choose important bc I don't think the stadium rankings change. Do you get to build out your coach in online dynasty? I never did one.
The homefield advantage needs to be tweaked to actually have an impact on the computer, and nerfed against users. It's another example of EA saying "we can't make a game truly fair so we will do this to even things out"
it's pretty extensive. i'd recommend looking into it before getting too far into od. fairly easy to waste of a lot of points if you have no direction.
I watched a lot of videos on it over the last month bc I thought I was going to do an offline dynasty but I never did. I didn't realize building your coach was used in online dynasties too. Good addition.
that clip of Castellanos missing a 6 yard pass right in front of him out of a clean pocket because he's short and has a poor field vision rating is going to make people rage. Having short qbs just throwing inaccurate passes even without giant lineman barreling down on them seems flawed.
Agree. Guys like Bryce, Kyler, and Baker have won the Heisman while not being 6'4". That shouldn't be an auto inaccurate feature.
the stadium rankings are absolutely dynamic. I got Kennesaw St into the top 10 for toughest places to play. and they don't just change at year's end; I've watched the Shoe fluctuate from 4 to 1 over a handful of weeks under recruiting -> stadium atmosphere you can see what drives toughest places to play including games vs ranked teams and win streaks
it's okay, I know you didn't play dynasty last year. was just letting you know so you won't be gun shy about picking a non top 10 environment when you do online dynasty this year
For example, Nebraska is not in the top 25 hardest places to play at the start, but by mid-season you can usually have them in the top 15.
You either start from scratch and build from level 1 or you can play as the actual coach so you start with whatever grade that is and build from there. In dynasty your stadium grade can go up/down depending on your winning % at home, team prestige, home winning streak, etc.
