For some reason someone clipped that part and it came up on my “For You” side of twitter. I legit thought it was AI for that same reason haha
I'm all for attacking these hate channels and snark channels or whatever. Especially after that fox rescue lady just killed herself because of that kind of stuff.
i don't follow animal pages on any social media because well cute animal videos are going to show up either way. the exception to that has always been saveafox. for like 10 years the only animal anything i followed.
Basically a lady who ran a fox rescue social media thing. She has dealt with mental health difficulties in the past, and I believe she is also on the autism spectrum. Either way, there was a "snark" subreddit (something I didn't realize existed) that basically made fun of her or attacked her for god knows whatever reason. It had a negative effect on her mental health, and she recently committed suicide. That's basically the whole story.
I just had one of the dumbest endings go my way in an online game. It was tied 3-3, and he scored with 0:50 left, I end up popping a huge play on 4th down for like 60 yard TD. I say screw it go for 2, run RPO, had my guy but got hit. Down 10-9 with 0:05 left, I have no TOs and my game lagged so I accidentally clicked regular KO. He’s in onside recovery, so I do a pooch kick it bounces at the 30ish and rolls all the way to the 2, his guys wouldn’t pick it up and I recovered it. He quit and I don’t blame him lol
So Bordeaux…who is a streamer who sucks at the game but gets to play it early…pointed out things he doesn’t like…and three of them were that jet sweeps/side to side plays are no longer overpowered, the game plays a little bit slower, and QBs are generally less accurate… Those are all great things to my ears…but like I said, he sucks at the game, so these things don’t surprise me coming from him
From a 45 game streak to playing awful. Just lost to Navy. Dude cooked me all game and made read after read. I can't even complain, he just diced me. I scored every possession but couldn't stop him and the stupid 3 minute quarters cooked me. He got 1 more possession and thats a gg.
Has EA said anything about addressing how some four and five stars don’t get any scholarship offers from the AI?
Intentional so that lazy shitheads like me can quickly snipe recruits towards the middle of the cycle, imo
that already doesn't really happen with 5 stars and only happens to about 5-10% of 4 stars, which are then mostly all locked by midseason. i know it was patched a couple of months into 25 but i had already stopped playing then. no clue if it took multiple passes at it to get where it is now, but now feels pretty good.
felt like I had a different experience in the last dynasty I did over this winter but it’s all anecdotal I suppose I’m doing my first ever online dynasty with some friends for 26 and I’m just hoping it’s not easily exploitable and recruiting can be somewhat realistic
good news is, whether the offline experience is anecdotal or not, the problems that exist there don't really exist as you add more and more competitive users to the dynasty. cpu recruiting logic may not always offer everyone by week 2 but users definitely will.
I know at one point they updated this so it didn’t happen as much. In my one online dynasty, after a few weeks there were very few 4 stars with no offers and it seemed like a lot of them were busts if you scouted them. At the very least, I’d assume having multiple users might offset that a bit too. If the CPU doesn’t offer but 3-5 of your user teams do it technically ends up in a similar place. But either way it seems less noticeable now. Edit: realize this is essentially what Odin said above too.
What was wrong with being on a 60 game win streak, 4 time national champ, and the best offer available was DC at UMASS?
icymi COACH CAROUSEL We introduced the foundation of the carousel last year, and in College Football 26, we’ve added more polish, feedback, and quality-of-life improvements to make it easier to track movement and make smarter staff decisions. You’ll now receive notifications when your coordinators accept or decline job offers, as well as alerts when one is poached for a new opportunity. Whether they’re leaving for a promotion or jumping ship unexpectedly, you’ll stay informed and ready to react. With coordinators playing such a pivotal role in your team’s performance and your coach’s overall development, we’ve added three new Program Builder abilities that give you more control over the hiring and retention process: Forever Home: Your coordinators are less likely to leave for another job. Deal Sweetener: Coordinators are more likely to accept your job offer. Cream of the Crop: Increases the caliber of coordinators available for you to hire. We’ve also rebalanced offer logic so that head coaches at top-tier programs now receive better and more consistent job opportunities when the carousel spins. If you’ve earned your spot among the elite, the market will better reflect it. Finally, within the Staff Moves screen, you can now view each coach’s previous role and school, their new role and destination, and the reason for the job change. Whether they were promoted, fired, or simply found a better fit, you’ll have more context for every coaching movement.
That's still concerning because they don't understand that I'm a sicko and only want offers from awful programs to build up

LSU 92 defense Oklahoma 14th best offense Miami 15th best defense Alabama 7th best offense What are we doing?
I will say the fact that players don’t get worse year to year in some aspects is just silly - that would be so much more realistic
Defense was so shitty in last year's game, maybe they just rate defenses higher than offenses now as EA's half-assed way of evening things out.
people really got the wrong idea on what the gems meant last year - it wasnt just green = star, red = bust most of the time it just reflected that the player had some ratings that didnt match with their archetypes (i.e. a deep threat receiver with under a certain speed rating)
Lots of 5 star busts that are rated better than 5 star normal - pretty sure it has to do with their development trait, but with the right perks it doesn't even matter. Would love to see the Coaching Portal be a bit more in depth - include AI coaches from the NFL to hire as a HC. Make it so you can lose your job in week 10 and the recruiting class gets gutted, etc.
