I ended up having two leagues die on me over the weekend. One just kind of had people lose interest over time and was a 1.5 star prestige dynasty. So I get that one. The other one was right after I won the natty in my first season in the league. I played the commissioner in the semifinals and had 8 interceptions by the 3rd quarter. I was chewing clock starting in the second quarter because it was that bad. Then I played the champion from the prior season (Miami). He accused me of being a cheese lobby player because I scrambled with my QB for 10 carries and 101 yards. Like if you’re dropping 8 into coverage, I’m not going to force the ball downfield. If nothing is open, I’m gonna run it with my QB. After that game, the commish was like “we’re just gonna end this league until CFB26.” Sucked because I had signed 12 five stars and had the best class and team by far coming back.
I've never seen this before. He was maaaaaaad. I would be too. He said he tried to pump fake but that doesnt make much sense in that scenario. No clue what would cause an arm punt.
This guy was someone in a ncg but he was baaaaaad. He just threw fly routes to his 99 speed WR but my 98 speed CB shaded over the top ran with him all game and had 3 int's. He had absolutely no offense to turn to outside of that.
They really need to extend online games to 5+ minutes. You can kill an entire quarter with 2 first downs. Have the lead to start the 4th and you need 2 firsts to end the game. Hell you can get to the 2 minute warning on 2 plays. Get a 1st on 3rd and they have to burn their timeouts after that play and 1st and 2nd down, get one more first and it's game. Make it 5+ minutes or change to a 15 second play clock. Yes, just lost the ncg that way.
That’s someone who thought a WR was open, only to realize just as they barely touched the button that the WR was not open. I’ve done that before.
Going to miss Milroe. This was easily the best Bama video game team. Pretty funny when compared to actual title teams like 09, 11, and 12 but EA hated those teams. They had high overalls but they didn't have a lot of speed so they sucked to use online. Julio was like a 97 overall but only 93 speed or something like that. Whole defense was slow. This year's Bama team was waaaaaaaay overrated, especially Milroe and the 3 DB's with 97+ speed.
You're going to praise EA for adding a couple small features that were standard in NCAA 09 as if they've never been thought of before
Overall I thought 25 was pretty dang good once they nuked the juke move. It's not perfect and I'm sure there's issues in dynasty that I don't play but overall I enjoy the shit out of this game. I looked the other day and it's my 3rd or 4th most played game since like 2019. A couple 2k's and The Show were above it but I played this like 400 hours iirc. I think I'm at 650+ online games.
I played roughly 40 total seasons across multiple dynasties there will always be things I wish were included (most is just data), but overall I thought it was a very fun game I put a ton of hours into. and I will again for the new one I just started playing again over the weekend and I have zero complaints after 2 months away from it
The amount of folks who play football games like Madden or NCAA and know dick all about football tactics is absolutely absurd to me. They only understand how to do metas within the game and that's. If you have any kind of solid football knowledge, you'll beat these fucking clowns 70-80% of the time. I'm also confused as to how so called "football fans" got this far in life watching a sport and seemingly have zero idea how the game itself is played or works
I want to buy the game but I refuse to give them money. How do you release a fucking NCAA football game without formation subs option that was prevalent in the game going back to the early 2000's???? Like the game doesn't have a mass subs or formational subs feature, but has a fatigue feature? How does that make an iota of fucking sense. They just do not give a shit about their product and it shows, and that's one of the big reasons I'm so hesitant to buy this shit. It's rewarding dogshit effort
Did it have those features at launch? Because I distinctly remember there being complaints, it didn't
both were added within maybe 4-6 weeks of launch we all definitely complained, but they got it fixed rather quickly tbf, I'm not sure they understood how vital those features actually were to diehards. me specifically, I rarely use formation subs
But that's the problem, how could they not understand keeping a feature that was in a majority of their older games? It shows a complete lack of care for your product. We'll see if this next game is worth buying or not, but I'm sure it will be the same half ass bullshit effort EA always gives where they'll release broken shit day 1 then come back and fix it with a patch months later. Be like me building out a first-person shooter but forgetting to add the option to go into your inventory unless you're on the start up screen. Makes zero sense.
My only complaint is that Bruce Wayne is way better than I am and consistently beats my ass in our online dynasty Will continue buying this game each year forever
I hadn’t played for about two months before picking the sticks back up ten days ago or so, I still think the game rips, even if nothing will ever recreate the lore and nostalgia of the past.
He had surgery shortly after the combine. https://www.si.com/nfl/falcons/news...o-jones-combine-nfl-draft-2020-mock-cap-space
I personally think 4.4 flat should be 95. Need some room above that to differentiate the truly elite speed IMO
I'm ok with that. 95-96 is fine and then the 4.3 and 4.2 guys can be 98 and 99. My beef back then was there was like 40+ players as fast or faster than him in game and that's laughable.
They need to make elite speed a little more rare in this next iteration. It shouldn't be where every single team has 2-10 99 speed guys.
I don't feel like that's the case? I can think of one 99 speed guy (Harbor) and then maybe a dozen or so 98's.
Ahh got you. Yea they probably need to tone down recruits or tone down progression in physical areas like speed. Players don't get that much faster while in college. They kinda are what they are as a FR.
