Looking in dynasty, the fastest player in this beta is a speed of 94, a RB at OU. Speed range by position QB 69-88 RB 85-94 FB 67-74 WR 86-93 TE 73-82 LT 53-73 LG 51-70 C 51-69 RG 49-70 RT 53-73 LE 65-75 RE 67-80 DT 59-74 SLB 76-86 MLB 76-84 WLB 76-86 CB 88-92 FS 85-90 SS 85-91
They've added to the number of plays that show in highlights after games, the ones you can go back and watch and move rhe camera around to see what happened. Last game I played i counted 28 plays i could rematch. Last year it was like 10.
looking like my initial HS class will be 14 five stars and 10 to 12 four stars not sure if this is a good or bad thing given I haven't unlocked additional hours over 50 for recruiting purposes love the visits concept now though, definitely using that unlike last year
The cost. No longer 40 hrs Now it's based on distance and/or if they come from a pipeline Since I'm OSU, kids in state are only 10hrs. My Big Apple and Tidewater pipelines cost 15 hrs. Central Florida is also a pipeline and cost 25, same with East Texas. Meanwhile South Florida and North Texas are not pipelines and cost 30. Cali is 40. Haven't seen what Pacific Northwest will cost but I'd guess 25 or 30 as it is also a pipeline
Have an offline dynasty request for something that bugged the shit out of me last year. Save and then try to advance week without doing recruiting but playing(or simming) your game. Seems like they’ve fixed a bunch of UX issues with stats and abilities accessible from more places.
fair. Appreciate all the info; definitely seems like they’ve improved some QOL things from the menus/features
Did you notice anything else with how location affects recruiting? I assume visits was the only one but didn’t confirm. I like some of the QOL stuff they added with the red dot showing something changed, the team needs at the top, etc
I didn't even realize they are dynamic lol I barely pay attention to deal breakers because recruiting with OSU is cheating to begin with
I thought I saw on the preview article last week it said something about dynamic deal breakers. Maybe one other thing too (maybe dev traits?)
I've now faced OU in 4 of my last 5 games. Guys are just spamming the OU RB bc he has 94 speed and defenses are like 86-89 across the board. Guys sweating their dicks off on a beta lol
reached the stretch run of my year 1. definitely enjoying myself. experimenting with the new formations and plays. trying all the stunts and twists (I love this option, especially picking in the play call screen) The Game is #1 Ohio St (11-0) @ #6 Michigan (10-1) my class ended up 14 and 10 and #1 overall. UGA is 2nd with 5 fives and 28 fours. Clemson is the only other school to sign more than 1 five star. ND, PSU, Texas, Auburn, Florida, USC, Arkansas, Michigan, and Missouri signed 1 each current CFP projection: #12 (#25) Memphis (8-3) @ #5 (#4) Miami (9-2); winner plays #4 (#19) West Virginia (9-2) #9 (#8) Oregon (8-3) @ #8 (#7) Alabama (8-3); winner plays #1 (#1) Ohio St (11-0) #11 (#10) TCU (9-2) @ #6 (#5) LSU (9-2); winner plays #3 (#3) Louisville (10-1) #10 (#9) Nebraska (8-3) @ #7 (#6) Michigan (10-1); winner plays #2 (#2) Georgia (11-0) clearly this beta was created before they implemented straight seeding
How are you picking rhe stunts? It tells me to hold X, Y, or square. I do that and it pops up 3 options over the corresponding play. I go down to one, let go of the button, but then when I line up on D, nothing.
I do that too but my guys do the stunts/twists (there are 8, not 3, if you keep scrolling). at least it seems like it; I've watched my DE loop to the middle behind my DT. and on the 3 man stunt, I had a DT come around the NT and DE to bring outside pressure
I'll try to pay attention. When I do the play art pre snap ot doesnt show anything but maybe they do it.
Somehow made the playoffs at 6-6, maybe bc i was playing with a lot of tier 5 teams just to see different stadiums and entrances? I wasn't paying attention to the points earned per win. The rosters are pretty even so why not. But hey if I'm in the playoffs I may as well win right? Spoiler
And its 12 games in the national championship thing instead of 10. And 12 make playoffs instead of 8.
Awards won in 2025 RB won the Heisman, Walter Camp, Maxwell, and Doak Walker (1521 yards, 19 TDs, 6.1 ypc) Top WR won the Biletnikoff (77 rec, 1262 yards, 10 TD) #1 DT won the Lombardi (39 tackles, 25 for a loss, 13 sacks, 1 FF) Slot CB won the Bednarik, Nagurski, and Thorpe (77 tackles, 1 sack, 2 INT, 11 PBU) #1 DE won the Best DE (44 tackles, 28 for a loss, 12 sacks) OC won the Broyles (#3 scoring O, #1 tot O, #3 Pass O, #4 Rush O) also finished 2nd for CoY, Thorpe, Lombardi, Best DE, and Butkus on to the playoffs #1 Georgia 13-0 #2 Ohio St 13-0 #3 Miami 11-2 #4 West Virginia 11-2 #5 Louisville 11-2 #6 Alabama 9-3 #7 LSU 10-3 #8 Oregon 9-3 #9 Penn St 10-2 #10 Notre Dame 9-3 #11 Mississippi St 10-2 #12 Boise St 9-4
Only the default depth charts are used in online games (Road to CFP). You can do it in Madden and have leads been able to in previous CFB games which is why it's so puzzling this feature was left out of 25
The road to CFP rosters were slightly different than the game. I noticed a couple of random OSU players weren’t on the road to CFP roster but were on the regular game roster.
Not sure. The roster tab isn't available. You can only select from games modes (dynasty and cfp), settings, and extras iirc. You can't scroll through rosters and depth charts. It was annoying having to pause and do DC to start every game in 25.
7 transfers in the offseason 2 QB, TE, MLB, 2 CB, SS also had 6 guys leave early for the draft in total 14 guys were drafted 6 in the 1st 2 in the 2nd 5 in the 3rd 1 in the 4th
Surface level I didn't see any difference. I also recruit well enough I have no need or desire to fuck with that portal either I signed 20 kids (14 fives) and then ended up cutting around 13 to go from 90 to 77 roster spots The game still caps rosters at 85. Curious if that changes on release now that House was approved
I don’t think that’s true. I updated the UCF depth chart in the main menu screen to have Jacurri Brown be UCF starting QB over fat fuck KJ Jefferson and it’s always that way when I play Road to CFP. I also put Richardson as backup RB and that stuck in the games too.
I assume we’re having a TMB online dynasty in here? Or is that just the same one that RU_Goo is running?
did anyone happen to notice if they made it less annoying to change the positions of athletes after signing them
There’s an Xbox one going on the video game board. Could probably get more people in 26 with cross play.
It happens in real life. Our starting ILB runs a 10.9 100M. Obviously doesn’t have the acceleration/agility that a WR/CB might but that’s not the point. If it’s in the game, it’s in the game.
My point was its not 1 random super fast LB, its a common trait across all the players in the beta. All of the WR were way too slow. I scouted 15 speedster WR and none were faster than 91 speed. Meanwhile a lot of LB's were commonly 89 speed.
