I'd like to play as South Carolina, and would kind of prefer whatever system that would make this competitive. In the default roster they are 5 stars, but in the 2018 roster I've been using they are 4 stars. The roster is :

And it's pretty solid, I think. There are some oddities, like Washington Huskies having a 97 defense that's the best in the game. But the guy did a great job of matching up overall speeds with whatever is on rivals.com, so you have the occasional WR with 70-79 speed and such, and I'm not aware of any other 2018 rosters anyway.

Or we could use 2013-14 named rosters, which would be fine too.

Photoshopped, no receiver has ever been that open vs man to man in that game.

 

Thats the truth, I remember just getting fast guys and making them CB's and it was really tough to throw on.

 

My brother was so good at setting up his defense in man press, so I started to lock onto a receiver and run my own routes and getting open was super easy.

We had to make a rule not to play as WR because we both mastered it and the games were all about user controlled WRs.

It was actually quite easy, just ruined the gameplay.

You can press your button with the kind of touch/speed you want it delivered - just like a normal pass.

However, if you have a terrible/dumb QB you need to get open and press pass before he makes his own decision on who to throw to.

I'd sometimes put the other WRs to block so he couldnt choose them as an option.

Passing on this game was a billion times more frustrating than running, especially zone reads, which were basically ez mode

Passing to RBs in the flats was seriously broken for like the longest time. You would instantly get at least 5 yards every play.

 

FB screen was unstoppable

 

You guys are killing me with all these bumps.


Hope this antitrust lawsuit shows a path to getting this game back.

Have any of you tried the Madden download that does college football rosters? Saw something on twitter the other day and was interested.

No I used TE’s. I’d occasionally recruit a TE and put him at FB. The FB’s in that game were just always terrible. Better off with a big RB or TE in that spot.
