Making and trying out new builds is really fun, I’ve probably spent 2 hours just creating builds in the build creator, but I’ll never get to use more than maybe 3 in the entire lifespan of the game unless I’m paying. Cosmetics, emotes, and other things that don’t provide in game advantages can be behind paywalls and I won’t give a shit.

Your game doesn't cost a penny to maintain monthly. You can play it as much as you want at no additional cost. If you want to play the suped-up 700 hp version of the game, it'll be a little more.

Ok I think that was "first off." It's a game by game basis. But my overall point is I feel like a game should be able to charge whatever they want. We don't have a right to play them. If they are too expensive for your liking, don't play them. When I was a kid the arcade has $.25 games a $1 games. They weren't all equal. The $1 game often had a line to play it. It's still that way. Some games cost more to play. If you don't like the price of it, just don't buy it. It's the same as anything else in life.

Just fucking around. I haven’t bought a sports game outside of NHL, since NCAA stopped being produced. Micro transactions have never affected me. The dumb part to me is that they charge almost the entire value of the game to level up a player by 25. It should be like $20.

Games were $50 before online gaming was a big thing. They've added tons of new features over the last 15 years and the cost of the game has stayed relatively the same.

They also can digitally distribute which is how I would guess the majority of games are purchased now, so they reduce logistics and materials and manufacturing costs. I’m the current market place if you offered 2k20 offline modes only for $20 you might be able to sell it, but again it’s more than likely a free to play game.

Their servers cost approx $136K per day. Again this is a huge overestimate but lets use it for arguments sake $136K * 365 days = $50 million a year So again that's about a 1/11 of their ~ 11 months sales revenue. The VC microtransactions for 2k19 make $320 million IN A SINGLE QUARTER so please spare me the they need to do it pay for the servers argument. They do it because they're greedy fucks that prey on dumbasses like yourself.

They flipped it this year. Overall rating is much much easier than last year. Rep is much harder. You can go from 85 to 99 in about 40-50 hours this year so 60 to 85 would be even less than that bc those bars move faster.
But for the small price of 50 dollars, you can bypass all of that work and go straight to 85. Fair is fair!
