I will take back everything I've said about the players deserving to get paid if one of them gets too greedy and does something to ruin the possibility of this game coming back.
I would think the best, most fair and reasonable thing to do would be to make a blanket deal that if you sign your name you get X benefits and it's the same for everyone.
Pretty sure I read that EA is planning on doing 100% generic rosters, which is what they should have done from the beginning.
Not sure that I like that, simply b/c that seems like it would be a holdup on production, or will give them an out if they want to stop making it again (costs too much). Perhaps I’m overthinking it. I just want the game to come out with no hiccups.
Game released with generic characters that top out at 80. Micro transactions for each real player if you want ones with better stats. We all know that’s what’s coming. It’s what EA does.
Pay the players what they want/you deem necessary and if the player doesn’t want in… replace them with generic everything. Don’t match up State/height/weight/class, etc. It’s that easy, right?
Does anyone still play NCAA 14? Have you heard about CFBRevamped? Some developers have created/maintained a comprehensive mod of the game for conferences, jerseys, stadiums, menus, etc. and it's free to download and use. here is a summary: https://www.operationsports.com/col...l-14-mod-gets-major-update-on-console-and-pc/ here's where you can download it and find more info: https://github.com/cfbrevamped/CFBR-Easy-Installer/blob/master/README.md i don't have a fast enough pc to run the game via an emulator but others with a good PC and/or a modded console (which i don't think is hard to do) can get this working. hell, you can run the game in 4k if your cpu is fast enough. considering what EA has done to Madden, i would bet NCAA14 with the updated rosters/revamped tweaks would be a more enjoyable game than NCAA23
There’s a thread on this, or maybe it’s in this thread a few months ago. I did see EA hired a couple people from this crew to help work on the new game.
Madden is adding momentum and home field advantages. You have to believe that NCAA is the reason for this
The only thing that is different are the visuals, highly doubt that will even come close to being as good as a new game.
Like those Bama receivers need that. I’m gonna have to spend so much money just to make Nebraska competitive.
As a Bama fan, the only complaint we can have over the last 10 years is not having NCAA for most of it. 2019 with Tua, Ruggs, Smith, Judy, and Waddle would have been the best team ever on the game. I feel cheated.
