There is a concert venue a few blocks away from me.

was driving by yesterday and saw a line wrapped around the block. Was curious who was playing so I looked at the marquee. “The Used”. I almost cried and cancelled the rest of my plans but judging by the line I wasn’t getting in anyway

 

“No skip album” is loser energy. Everything was no skip because artists designed albums to be taken as a whole. Also you couldn’t just ask your robot slave to change tracks.


Also this song hit hard in the Taco Bell/Pizza Hut hybrid parking lot.

There are like 8-10 songs that sample "I call your name" at the start now.

Several recent uber rides thought "Throw Some D's" was about to be played and it was just the damn SZA Kendrick song again.

 

I've booked him a few times in the 2020s and that song still kills it
