Anyone else watching this? It's basically Narcos but with El Chapo and his rise and fall. 3 eps in and enjoying it.
I watched the first two episodes. It didn't grab me like narcos did, so I'm not sure if I'll finish it.
Burned through it in about three days. I really enjoyed it. The last 2-3 episodes were pretty uncomfortable to watch Spoiler I can't imagine how miserable it would be to waste away in solitary confinement. I never thought I'd feel sympathy for a dude like El Chapo but fuck that would be terrible
6 episodes in and while it's not as good as Narcos, it's definitely entertaining and fun to watch. They've compressed a ton of story into 6 episodes so the character development isn't as good as it could be but it's a great binge watch with most shows either wrapped up (Fargo, BCS etc) or still a few weeks out.
Agreed but he kept doing it to himself every step of the way. He could have stayed out entirely or stopped doing dumb shit to get his stay in solitary extended but chose not to
Oh absolutely. He's was/is a piece of shit human being but that would still be a worse punishment than death IMO
Blew through this pretty quickly and definitely enjoyed it. It did not take long for the show to really go from 0 to 60, mainly due to so few episodes. Done really well, much like Narcos. Will definitely continue to watch going into Season 2.
