“We’ve done the mass layoffs. We’ve raised the prices we charge our customers. I’m all out of ideas.” - every business owner in America when trying to figure out how to make more money
What’s the deal with this Whammy guy? Does he stand by his prior opinion or too stubborn to admit he was wrong? Either way, it must be exhausting with the constant tags in this thread which would probably largely dissipate if he just succumbs to the obvious.
Did he actually file his law suit or is he leaning on the state of Texas to do his dirty work for him?
James Alefantis is married to the CEO of Media Matters, so the pizzagate stuff is directly related to this lawsuit stuff
Every accusation of weaponizing the government for partisan purposes is just another admission of guilt on the right wings part. It’s always projection and they’re never called out on it. we live in a country where the media presents a government party that tried to overthrow the government as a reasonable option to govern
I wonder if that means the funds for the ads that the government of Israel paid for will be redirected to hospitals in Gaza Magic 8 ball says he's full of shit as usual
lol "subscriptions" = he's confirmed the Israeli* bot farms are buying fuckloads of (probably backdated) blue checks for their propaganda efforts re this war *and other states (China, Russia, Iran, India and Turkey already have huge operations on twitter.)
This is definitely getting dropped. Fortune 10 CEOs definitely don’t want their conversations of “shut the fuck up until this blows over and we will advertise again” to be released to the public.
Has it gotten so bad that they've just given up on targeted ads? Because I just got one for Steve Scalise.
Not the details but I remember Matt Taibbi making a fool of himself trying to debate Mehdi Hasan and only being able to speak in a flustered vocal fry.
My ads lately have just been a bunch of makeup products and one with a guy laying down that kicks a hovering fidget spinner from his feet and catches it.
Clicked on the fidget spinner tweet and the same fidget spinner ad was posted an additional 8 times in the comments
Yes but the funny reason I bring it up is it was again literally what they are alleging as far as only sharing the data that underpins their purpose. in hindsight it was just hilarious that his first step as ceo was to nuke credibility of the platform by elevating a conspiracy theory
And how much could that fidget spinner company be paying for ads? That's what I think with the ads I get. Shit I've never heard from companies I've never heard of.
