Any of y’all watch Elon Musk’s Crash Course on FX last night. It’s was put together in conjunction with the NYT about how Tesla is responding to the issues with crashes. Spoiler, Musk is carnival barker and not much else. His whole entrepreneurial persona is built on a foundation of simply telling people what they want to hear or telling them things to deflect their attention. He’s been saying at various times for 6 or 7 years now that fully autonomous vehicles should happen within 2 years, knowing full well that he’s full of shit. It’s going to be great watching his inevitable downfall. Oh and now he’s full on playing up his new Maga-chud persona saying, “look at Hillary and those who won’t talk about her, not me”.
His private jet flew from Houston to Dallas last night so he’s not halfway across the world. He’s definitely on lots of uppers to keep his meltdown going at 3:22 AM CST.

I wasn’t a fan of the mark up, and I don’t really need another vehicle. We’re having zero issues with one car (also EV) so it would either be extra, or become out primary vehicle. My wife doesn’t want a truck as our only vehicle with car seats and dogs and stuff. And as much as I tried to convince myself I’d get a base model at 40 I wouldn’t be happy in that trim.

I’m an F150 driver and plan to keep my 2020 3.5L for a few more years. Then I’ll decide if I want the hybrid or lightning for my next one depending on how things look. The hybrid can also run as a 7.2kw generator, however it does not have the automatic powering of your house feature of the lightning I am also watching to see if they do a Ranger Lightning, which I think they will, and may go back down to a midsize truck. Ford has been knocking new releases out of the park lately
