Yea. It's terrible and unbelievably lazy writing. It's completely unrealistic that after getting kidnapped that Hakeem wouldn't tell his family that his captors all had the same large tattoo on their back. I get that they had to make it obvious for the lowest common denominator of viewers, but shit. That's just sloppy/lazy writing
This anika storyline is terrible. Completely out of character to go from strong manipulative bitch in season 1 to this weak obsessive character who is in HS tier love with a 20something year old.
