The Moyes is back in town. I'd like to think Everton played just a tiny bit in him getting a Premier League job. Big Sam's destruction of a listless Everton clinched safety for Sunderland and made Allerdyce look slightly more appealing than his "competiton". Thoughts on the hire Cotton500 ? Assuming the last couple years didn't break him, I think he'll keep them safe as long as he is there.
Everyone on the Hull City board are wishing they could've gotten Steve Bruce to quit just a couple days earlier. Brucey almost seemed reluctant to win the Championship playoff because of how weak Hull's squad was. The only "usual suspect" I can think of that would take the Hull job is Tim Sherwood. It would be amazing if that happens.
This season is going to be really interesting. It is so up in the air, it's impossible to get a good read on how it will play out. So many different variables coming into play with 3 big clubs under new management and spending cash like it's about to expire. Arsenal are doing Arsenal things but always end up in the mix somehow and we should be better in theory just due to the continuity from our squad staying together and adding some nice pieces. Liverpool could be good with no European football or complete shit. Leicester are defending champions ffs.
Was just giving Shaun a little grief. It hasn't been too often lately we've held bragging rights over them.
Think there will be a fair amount of crazy scorelines this season. Lots of reinforcement being done in attacking positions, haven't seen a ton of big defensive upgrades. Looks like a big weakness for City and Chelsea as of right now, Stones transfer notwithstanding. United need to hope Shaw bounces back quickly and Arsenal need to avoid any center back injuries for the entire season. We could use another center back with Jan out to start the season as well. Some solid defensive mid signings should help a bit, but I still expect a lot of goals next season. Will have to reacess after the window closes.
I made sure to leave myself plenty of room there. We could win, we could lose 3-0, we could lose 5-0. Too early to be painting myself into a corner
Betting on United to win the league for 2017-2018 is easy money. Year 2 Mourinho doesn't fuck around. They'll probably finish 2nd or 3rd. I'm eager to find out how little Jose will care about the Europa League.
