I’ve thought this as well, though I do feel he’s sorted out our leadership problems. Just think he’s stuck in 2010 tactically.
I was just confused because I generally don’t see how people can defend his tactics. And was shocked at someone saying any part of today’s game was serviceable. Apologize if I came off poorly, stuck at the ladies parents this weekend and I’m running on fumes.
Without a doubt. He needs an all world dynamic talent up front to do anything in his decade old system. We are in the same boat. Wenger doesn't do tactics and thinks he has Brazil's national team.
United probably had two seasons in there that were better (League and UCL, league and UCL final) and Arsenal were unbeaten. Not going to find many others.
City could easily set record this season for Pts, Goals, Goal differential, Margin of title victory, away wins, total wins and already tied earliest title win and set record for most straight wins. Also going to blow away the record for possession in a season.
And how poorly the minnows set up against them. The way teams have sat back against City, playing them completely incorrectly, led to them running roughshod. It’s an odd individual vs. collective incentives problem. You say several teams show how to beat City, but getting all PL teams to mutually commit to doing it is a harder problem. None of this is to take anything away from them, the way they broke down every bus parker was incredible.
sucks that the United game was right in between the Liverpool CL games that loss prob cost us the title for GOAT PL Team
I think there’s a few in the discussion and think City would get into the discussion with at least 3 more wins
in my professional and non-biased opinion city is the best team in sports history as a whole. ran the numbers through my proprietary formula and they confirm my stance
That's been the case for a while now, Milner winning it after he'd been in the league for 5+ years or whatever should've been the impetus for a change.
It was bad. Newcastle played as though the season was done. And Everton just don't create anything on the attack. Newcastle had opportunities but blew basically all of them
