Top half looks pretty good actually. Bottom half is a disaster Giving myself a pass on Kane and KDB for injuries. Ederson was close. I thought Keïta would be better
Huddersfield was last, not Cardiff. But you had the bottom 4 just not in the right order. That worth something
Gave too much credit to United, West Ham, and Palace, definitely Fulham, and undersold Bournemouth, Watford, and Newcastle.
Pep is a fucking wizard and possession and overwhelming teams but when he goes up against teams with elite talent, his whole pressing/possession scheme gets destroyed. #fraudiola
Apparently the issue was the style Hughton played. Who the hell do they think they can get to play better stylistically with their squad and resources?
Overall not bad on the standings. Horrible on the awards but at least two were injury related. DDG for golden gloves was uh not great. Like most I gave too much credit to ManU and Fulham. Was pretty good 7-20 with a few exceptions. Way off on Watford and Burnley. Did nail this prediction though:
Some preemptive reports that Hazard to RM is already agreed to, but fwiw, this reporter who is usually more reliable with Belgian players says no agreement yet.
Working the phones right now. Awaiting the threeway with his agent & Flo Perez (that's a double entendre)
I genuinely can’t see how anyone with any integrity could enjoy rooting for a club like that. It’s akin to voting for Trump.
I admire the few(investigators in this case) at FIFA who think suggesting that will amount to anything.
I run into this a lot. The right thing needs to be said even if it isn't popular nor will it cause those that are wrong to correct their opinion. Credit to those guys for having integrity.
Holy fuck at the last paragraph, lol. P.S.G. and UEFA have a tangled relationship. The team’s owners also run beIN Sports, the broadcaster that is UEFA’s biggest media rights buyer. Both the club and beIN Sports are run by Nasser al-Khelaifi, a Qatari national who was elected to a position on UEFA’s executive board earlier this year.
That’s a cool graph. You would think with the big four becoming the big six the top end would be more stagnant or declining.
Qatar and UAE hate each other. Can't wait to see world politics play out via European soccer court battles.
Would be interesting to see the same type graph for wages. Think it’s evidence to why even tv revenue needs to stay
Yeah anyone arguing against even distribution of tv revenue is wrong. In fact I wish they could find another way to help diminish that gap between clubs. Maybe if city reels off 7 or 8 straight titles we will get some change.
Bought Mahrez, sold nobody of importance, and claim a transfer profit. Sounds like typical City bookkeeping.
