It seems to be a bit too UK soccer focused but with 50% off I think I’ll finally sign up for the Athletic.
if you like reading about sports I don't know how you can avoid signing up for The Athletic at this point.
Agreed you turned me onto it years ago. Covers everything i need, I’d literally pay double for it. Can’t recommend enough.
Yea they hired one of the few decent Newcastle journalists, and already have some good KC writers that I finally may sign up
Athletic is worth it if they have 1 good writer for a team you support and you have a general interest in a specific sport or multiple. At some point the cost is going to go up a decent amount but they are real articles. Not the clickbait bullshit. Very tough to find that nowadays. Even from good writers.
they hired the main villa writer from birmingham mail. his first article was about prince william's villa fandom. was interesting i thought it was always kind of bullshit but it seems like it isn't
I went to high school with one of the co creators of the athletic. Have been a long time subscriber just to support him. It’s honestly become the place where I read the most articles, it’s really good info for all my teams. The EPL coverage I bet will be very good just like everything else, and I think it’s going to bring them a lot of new subscribers.
Fans are also making a banner with support of him. Any money raised over the price of the banner is being split between kickitout campaign and Everton in the Community
Gave my team a quiz I created to determine what EPL team they should root for this season. Before it we had fans: 1 Chelsea 1 United 2 Tottenham 1 Liverpool We now have fans: 2 Bournemouth 1 Burnley 1 Chelsea 3 Everton 1 Leicester 2 Liverpool 1 City 2 United 1 Sheffield 2 Southampton 4 Tottenham 1 Wolves Looking forward to the new rooting interests.
10 day break for all teams. FA moved around some matches and they are splitting league games over two weekends so there is still some foot.

Spurs 1-17, Arsenal 18, 19, and 20, so they are relegated three times down to EFL League Two. Fuck the other teams, whatever.
I’m getting the impression you’re not giving these important predictions the time and consideration they deserve

I will not be making a prediction for fear of exploring just how far down the table I could justify placing United.
I didn't see that anyone made one, so I went ahead and did it. Everyone has til 11 a.m P.S.T tomorrow to set a lineup and get in on this game week. TSB Fantasy code: zkz9hb
