Are you taking into account what people thought of the chelsea youth players who you have championed as the additions on the last page? Abraham was a championship poacher who failed in the premier league at Swansea and mount was an average player. No one viewed them as that good. Chelsea also lost Eden hazard and came into the season with Hudson-odoi and loftus-cheek out with Achilles tears, rudiger out with a knee injury and kante still injured from coming back too early for the Europa league final. this chelsea squad has outperformed most people’s preseason expectations.
More likely they would just play the games behind closed doors. There is too much TV money at stake for them to cancel the games entirely.
They’re only 4 pts out of 17th. Big rest of the month for them. Southampton and Everton at home. I enjoy the way they play and can appreciate them not parking the bus as a lot of inferior teams do.
