Just started season 2 of the Sunderland doc

 

That place is a shit show

 

I’m half way through one. Why is Duncan Twatmore still there?

 

My only disappointment in that show was they never showcased Gooch. The trainwreck that ensues is good tv though

 

It wasn’t as bad as I expected the few days I was there last Easter, but I was also influenced by the weather randomly being 23 degrees celsius and sunny.

Nothing really haha. I started getting into soccer in 2009/2010 and just kind of chose them and rolled with it. It actually could have been a lot worse considering I could have chosen Bolton, Blackburn, Blackpool, etc.

I heard it was 'pool that made the suggestion. I guess we have to take drastic measures at this point.

 

I watched the highlights of the 3-0 derby win where Di Canio slid everywhere in his suit.

One thing I had forgotten was that Newcastle equalized but it was wrongly ruled out for offside, which was a terrible call (i.e. not some millimetres verified by ten replays offside). It amazes me that so many want to go back to the no VAR days where perfectly good goals were ruled out by linesmen.

 

My problem with VAR is the millimeters part and the time it takes. Add some sort of buffer and speed up the reviews and it will be fine.

 

I think VAR has been mostly fine outside the EPL. That seems to be where it is worst

 

When it first started there were a couple terrible decisions (believe they were in Bayern’s favor) but I haven’t noticed many since

I'm torn. On the one hand its billionaires being fucking shit head as they are wont to do, on the other hand the tories of England 100% are responsible for the coming debacle so fuck them let them pay for it.
