Dier handled that as perfectly as one can. Step in, bow your chest out, don't extend arm/forehead at opponent.
People foul people all the time while on yellows and don't get sent off for it. And that's without the context of United already losing a goal over it.
I don’t see how the context of United losing a goal over it makes any difference? If it was decided to be a clear and obvious error, I think that it should have also been a second yellow card.
right I’m not sure I’d call it since it seemed like they were pushing and swimming BUT IF YOU DO it’s a yellow and he’s off
I think the fact that Son slotted that goal away after nearly being blinded only moments earlier isn't being praised enough.
VAR taking a goal away from United and sending a player off was the best chance we had of fixing or getting rid of it. A shame.
Cavani’s movement off ball continues to be elite and will serve him long after his athleticism erodes.
You fools. You have unlocked “conceded in the last ten minutes, turn on relentless attacking intent Tottenham.” Be prepared to see an urgency the likes of which we cannot turn on in the first 80 minutes of any match.
In that case why does the context of it being a clear and obvious error make a difference? Like why does it matter for giving a second yellow that they missed it initially and only caught it on review? To your question back to me, I think it makes a difference because I think they'd already consider losing a goal to be pretty big punishment. But that was also in addition to me saying that players commit fouls while on yellows all the time without being sent off, which doesn't seem like is in dispute.
My butthole is puckered because we have a real knack for giving this up.....my biggest hope is a lot seem to be de Gea howlers....
I mean, if you’re going to employ a sniper at the top of your stadium, you should have him shoot the other team once in a while as well. Just for appearances.
My favorite part is it ended up being an assist and late sealer from a player that would still be in our academy if Jose was still in town. Also his first non cup top 6 goal contributions
