I thought this was about Adnan from Serial and was highly confused for a minute
I’m surprised this type of thing doesn’t happen more often, TBH.
He had to pretty brazen, or pretty dumb, to get caught. Probably both.
I liked him. That sucks.
I’m really curious what he leaked. Assuming it had to do with the layoffs?
He’s really good. That stinks.
That’s what I was thinking.
So what did he allegedly leak?
Will be interesting to find out what he was leaking and to who
I just hope he leaked the news of his own termination
Surprise that ESPN is against journalism and the truth.
Nice timing on this one. Released 45 minutes prior to Super Bowl kickoff.
What does this even mean? Leaking confidential, proprietary information would be grounds for termination at any company.
Jesse Palmer’s not gonna know what to do with himself.
He’s just participating in the lifeblood of his own industry.
Welcome to Tangiers.
He will be on Fox in 3 days. Or doing movie reviews for a website
It's a Clemson fan.
Just very pro-Adnan and having a tough time right now. Wish they would give him a second chance.
“Virk is accused of leaking confidential company information to the media on multiple occasions, according to sources.
When ESPN investigated the allegations, it felt that Virk failed to fully cooperate.”
It sounds like he didn’t do himself any favors.
Can’t trust Canadians
34 Wendel Clark
Or Afghans, amiright?
He’s from Pakistan, racist
Calling a Pakistani an Afghan is about as lazy, ignorant, and culturally insensitive as calling an American a Russian. Then showing an “oh well” attitude just makes you look like a piece of shit. It’s 2019, find some empathy.
You’ve apparently got enough for both of us.
shouldn't have been getting too cozy with Richard Deitsch
They are both guilty
Seems like weighted blankets are the latest hot group think must have
You kidding? Now he can go somewhere and actually cover sports.
Guy was always a hack. Good riddance. Thrilled he is gone.
You’re talking about modern sports journalism, right? Maybe old school journalism. Or investigative journalism. But the lifeblood of modern sports journalism is hot takes and clickbait. So not even close. You’re talking about ESPN not Reuters.
pouring one out for Adnan. I’m sure he’ll land on his feet somewhere soon
He’s so good on certain podcasts
Get a load of PC principal over here guys
He’s great on Lebitz
Tmb 2019: where you now need to be politically correct
its more like calling an American a Canadian
really makes you wonder what kind of info he was spilling for them to fire one of their top guys.
I agree with your thought here, but try to seem a little less upset next time.
