Not really sure what she brings to the table. Was a total flop at FS1, and you need like a .01 rating there to be a success.
I've said this for a long time, but if I were ESPN I would try to do a travel/sports show where the host goes to a city, explores the city, then the last like 20 minutes of an hour long show focuses on a sporting event in that city. Go to Barcelona then go to a Barca match Go to Mumbai then a cricket match etc. She would probably be a good fit for that. And I would rather watch that than almost any summer programing ESPN offers.
I think ESPN used to have something like this in the early 90's along with Scholastic Sports America.
There was a pickup cricket match going on at a park near me a few weeks ago. Apparently it was a family reunion. I stopped and watched for a solid 20 minutes
While she's better than Michelle beadle (who isn't?), she's just going to become another cog in the espn machine.
I like her but I don't see the point in hiring her 6 months after you fired a bunch of other people could have done whatever she's going to be doing. And probably for less money too.
If I remember correctly, people were annoyed with her because she got all high and mighty about how women shouldn't use their looks or act like idiots to get ahead and the claim was that was exactly what she was doing. Of course I could be completely mis-remembering that so don't shoot the messenger. Also, I should note that I was not on either side of that argument, merely have some slight memory of it on here.
Pretty sure you're remembering it wrong. She did blast a chick who wrote and article called "How to get a Husband at the Masters". Shockingly enough it was on uber douche bag Clay Travis' website. It was a pretty horrible article and mightnhave been relevant in the 30s
And just a sidenote to laugh at Clay Tavis....the "woman" that wrote that article doesn't exist and most assume it was Clay just being his douche Lord seld.
