Re: Euro 2012 Qualifying Thread Pieters is what we call a balanced back in holland (a solid but not great defender but capable of going deep down the line), he is the guy who i thought would be the long term replacement for van bronckhorst but I didnt expect him in already although he started the season well. Maduro is a borderline defensive midfielder who should never play against a real team iyam. Plays for Valencia and is a very strong player with a good pass but he is limited in the defensive instincts and limited thoruhg the air.

I'm sure some Man U fan will bash me for saying that but going from playing as well as any player in the world to not scoring a goal in 6+ months because Rooney is allowed to come back from a 2 month injury in 8 days is fucking stupid. He'll find his form eventually. Just not sure when and how injuries will linger throughout his career.

Defoe and him don't work at all together and Defoe is ball watching the whole time as well. Walcott makes runs and everyone is just standing around then Walcott gets desperate and just kicks the ball to no man's land. Not like Walcott has been very good but doesn't get much help. Milner has been average but gets a ball around 30 yards out with Rooney and Walcott making a run and he cuts back and passes it back to one of the defenders w/o even giving the runs a chance. Jagielka and Dawson look good though. No reason Terry should start over either of them. Johnson and Cole have been good but Johnson almost had the worst own goal ever. Breaking news England are garbage.
