I think he is too light and I really just don't want a project or someone that isn't closer to being ready. I'd rather go OT if we want that. We need an immediate contributor. Honestly I'm starting to think Dupree over the others at 8. Thoughts? I know he's rising on draft boards.
dupree is just as much of a project as Gregory. Probably more. He can't bull rush, and most of his sacks came against poor competition.
I'd rather have Dupree than Gregory. He's going to be playing at like 215-220 half way through the year
@TheFalcoholic: Dimitroff talks about a "really good group of guys" in the 3rd-5th rounds at RB. Look for the #Falcons to make an RB pick in that range.
@vxmcclure23: Quinn said he loves evaluating the running back position. Not looking for a specific type but wants the physical backs, of course.
@vxmcclure23: Quinn said LB still a position to address in the draft despite the free-agent additions.
@vxmcclure23: ``Man is he tough,'' Quinn on Todd Gurley @CraigSagerJr: Quinn on Todd Gurley "Man is he tough" Dimitroff "He runs with that attitude and anger you want." Gurley at 8 /TD
I'd be down for trading up to get Leonard Williams or Dante Fowler, but we have so many needs and that will cost a ton. Trade em our 2016 5th rounder.
So if we are at 8 and Williams, Fowler, Gregory, Beasley are gone and you've got Dupree Ray Trae Waynes all the OL left, who do you like?
I can't see all of those guys being gone honestly But in the case it did happens I like Dupree That said Ray will turn out to be way better and I'll look like an idiot
I'd go Dupree with the 1 and pray Jake Fisher falls to the 2nd round. Still think our run game would look better with OL help over drafting a RB. I am not in love with Ray which of course means he is the next Derrick Thomas
I loved Khalil Mack. Falcons winning a useless game in Canada against Buffalo or Mike Shanahan basically throwing a game in 2013 cost us a shot at him.
Oh I loved mack, I was just saying he'll turn into the best defensive player of the draft like mack was
Dupree, OL, or trade down. Even if Beasley or Gregory are on the board at 8 for me. I really only want Williams or Fowler at 8 - otherwise accumulate picks.
@DOrlandoAJC: #Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff appears set to make a play for #Gators DE Dante Fowler Jr. #NFLDraft2015 http://t.co/TQq1RlsM5o
if we burn a whole draft for one player. Should have benched anyone worth a shit during the season if you wanted draft position
yea I doubt our front office is telling D. Orlando () what we plan on doing just ready for the draft to be over with, shit should have happened a month ago
Yeah I praying someone trades to 2 to take Mariota so the Jags will take Williams. I doubt Fowler makes it past them if Williams is gone.
@AlbertBreer: Lots of teams looking at idea of moving down, here's one inquiring on trading up: The Falcons. Rivals believe target is an impact defender.
Leave it to this shit front office to trade up. Hey, let's give up a ton of picks to move up 5 spots when we need a shit load of talent.
Yea sounds like TD is still running the show if this happens. We need so much shit and we will waste a lot of picks moving up a couple picks
If I were interested in trading down, I'd leak a rumor that I wanted to trade up right before the draft
Whats a good band wagon to jump on? I'm thinking Redskins bc Snyder is a great heel. He is like full life Vince McMahon but stingier
On my drive in this am and the Jagtards I listen to on sports talk radio were discussing the fact that rumor out of Atlanta has us wanting to trade up and the Jags are the prime candidate at #3. They were drumming up all the scenarios, "gotta get at a minimum this years first and next years first, plus this years second possibly." I really hope CB is right and we are leaking shit on purpose.
