Idk about trading him but you can cut him easily. He'll have a 48mm cap hit. If you cut him its 25mm in dead money and you save 23mm. Fields back in the A just feels right. If Fields is taken at 3, I get havimg more concerns about Lance and taking OT.
I’m pretty content with all options at this point. I would be surprised if we took a QB. If we do trade back that would give us the ammunition to trade up in the future to get that quarterback.
https://www.fantasypros.com/2021/04/kyle-yates-mock-draft-6-0/amp/ No idea who this guy is, but what a mock. We trade down twice then take Najee at 15.
Just positions we don’t have perpetual issues with, like, Brandon Brooks and Osemele on o-line, Lavonte David and Oliver Vernon at linebacker and Casey Heyward at corner.
Spending 3 of our first 4 picks on a RB, a QB and a TE should get someone fired at best or tried at The Hague
We have drafted 1 million defensive players the last few years and not one of them have been any good. Might as well just try and outsore everyone.
There have been a few. Jarrett, Neal was was when he was healthy , Trufant was good for a while, D Jones. But yeah I get your point our scouting has been atrocious
that's all old regime though and can't factor that in with how the new group should approach the draft.
Going back thru our draft history, its depressing seeing how many players were cut after their 1st or 2nd season.
Eisen asked him who he'd take between the 3 QB's expected to be there at 4 of Fields, Lance and Jones. He said Fields
New Kiper mock up. We trade with Miami down to 6, get a 2nd rounder next year. Miami takes Pitts, we get Lance at 6. Round 2, we take Rousseau 35th.
I’d just like to say I’m grateful to never, ever have to care what Thomas Dimitroff thinks about anything. This thread could have crowd sourced better drafts than that Jabroni
Did not realize he was listed as a RB now. Gotta appreciate the guys ability to survive with his roster spots
I don’t think Fields will be there in this mock. I also wish we could trade down and get Surtain but it is what it is. Let’s go Sewell and fire Jake Matthews into space.
I hate to be this simple but go Fields/Sewell in round 1 and all defense the rest of the draft unless someone falls to us
Plus, there’s this defensive end out of Oberlin College named Newton Cranstmore III who I think has a shot at becoming the next JJ Watt. Granted, he’s 5’11” and 185 pounds but his motor is outstanding.
Trade back, fields, lance, or pitts anyone else I’d be mad no one outside of the mainboard seems to think Sewell is the next Orlando pace
