I mean there’s no doubt we are a better team now than we were last year, but Arthur and Terry are betting a lot on Ridder. Fascinating to see
Yeah I'm very surprised we haven't gone after a WR
Speaking of which
I’ll forever love him but please no
It's an upgrade over whatever it was we threw out on the field behind London.
Famous for letting Gabe Davis have the greatest wr game in playoff history. Love him for his contributions at UCF but I expect very little.
Cheap depth piece for sure.
If you go for need, surely Tyree Wilson at 8 is the guy unless they love Malone and Ebitke.
Corner or edge has to be the move right?
Yea and I’m starting to think Wilson goes before 8 so we take a corner
Lions have been active with FA DBs. Christian Gonzalez could be there. They may snag Carter
Arthur with a HOF bad take
"Politicians in states such as Georgia, Florida and Texas have come out against DEI efforts, which strive to make hiring more representative of a variety of demographics.
But Blank, who is on the NFL’s DEI committee and donates to the Atlanta-based National Center for Civil and Human Rights, said DEI is a growing need in America. “The notion of pluralism and acceptance of everybody based on who they are and what they are and what they can do, et cetera, that should be the highest priority for our nation,” he said. “And certainly, in terms of job placement, job opportunities, things of that nature. So I would not politically or socially be in favor” of efforts to roll back DEI."
Calais Campbell? Welcome to the team old man
Defense has surely been beefed up. Still gotta find an edge rusher
or two... or three... then maybe we get some production.
I imagine we are going edge with the first pick. I also wouldn't count out Ebiketie having a big 2nd year jump.
Who is there at 8 iyo?
I believe the Falcons are destined to never have a good pass rusher. We have tried for 15 years and failed over and over again.
Tyree Wilson seems to be the consensus choice if they go edge from the mocks I've seen. Or Myles Murphy but I don't want an edge rusher from Clemson.
I keep seeing Wilson gone before 8. If he's there that's the pick imo.
I'd go best OT or CB available.
I've seen that kid Oregon mocked to us as well by some writers.
Feel like we’ve been asking for a pass rush my entire adulthood.
John Abraham was the last pass rusher that wasn't a flash in the pan (Vic).
Looking at the defensive depth chart
Is that a WR? Wasn't that Lacrosse D2 football guy supposed to be our token athletic WR?
Jeff Okudah for a 5th is pretty alright
Better than the OL from a directional school we would have drafted.
Yeah I’ll take it.
Bijan come on down
I'm not even mad if its Bijan at this point with the way Smith runs the ball
I mean duh of course it would be the pick and dream scenario if either of those guys somehow fell to 8
another dream scenario would have been losing games, tanking properly, and having better draft capital in every round.
Maybe if we tanked like a proper franchise we could avoid a dream scenario
Taking Levis or Richardson would devastate me
As it stands we can go BPA with our first 3 picks. If we took an edge, CB or OT I’d be happy.
But because we can’t have nice things I’m sure we are going to take Levis and Zach Charbonnet with our top 2
I love these rumors that they extrapolate from:
Came from that screenshot that states: "Sources" close to the Falcons, which is actually only one "source", who told him about how it would take a "dream scenario", from which he took that statement and interpreted it himself as they're only taking those two specific players.
You could probably take any team picking 3rd or later in the draft and put their name in that story instead of the Falcons and it be true.
Does this idiot not realize why we had no defense?
