Love the interview coaching he's gotten. He says "come to work everyday... blah blah" more than a few times.
Probably would have rolled my eyes a few years ago before I had a kid, but I enjoyed Michael asking him about being a dad and what his daughter is doing and relating on that level.
I would like to think if I was able to own a professional sports team I would have the self awareness to stay out the way, but I can't help but think I would end up a meddling asshat like Jerry.
I like to think I’d be a good owner but yeah I’d probably be Jim Irsay. Taking uppers, interjecting in the draft and hiring guys from television
It will never not be amazing how we fucked up something so perfect. The old unis look so good but we're out there wearing some bullshit. This helmet is perfect
I believe this is a playoff team. Fontenot has done a good job. If Arthur doesn’t impress with this roster, it’s time to move on
I am both optimistic and still not sure if Fontenot is good or not. I do think he is light years better than Tom Dimitroff, but the people who post ITT could drink Olde English all day and draft better than Tom Dimitroff. Marlon Davidson, Takk McKinley, Peria Jerry and Peter Konz died for us. Offensively I think Art is a great play caller and designer. I think there is a top 5 unit here. However, theres still questions. I mean we took Pitts over Waddle, Jamar Chase, Micah Parsons, Patrick Surtain and Penei Sewell. He has 3 TDs in his career. I know what Pitts could be, but man that pick is rough right now. I also know we didn't anticipate Ridley losing his damn mind. Drake London is a guy we are happy about but Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave loom. And the OL turnaround has been really impressive. I think Ridder HAS to be a top 12-14 guy because what path do we have if he isn't?? We will win too much to get a Drake / Caleb slot, and we wont have the cap room to go get a distressed asset like Lamar was last year. Defensively it is mind boggling how bad that roster was 2 years ago. Grady Jarrett and a whole pile trash. Dean Pees blitzed, he dropped 8 and everything in between and we had 39 sacks in 2 years which feels impossible in the nfl. Once again die in a fire Tom D. How are we not substantially better at every level barring injury? Is 40 sacks off the table? I like everything I am reading about the defense. Health is obviously the main thing but man its exciting. I think we could / should win the division. I don't trust New Orleans, and Bryce Young is throwing to a bunch of jags. Tampa is clearly bottoming out. If things go good, theres no reason we couldnt beat say The Giants or someone like that on Wild Card weekend and then go play Philly or Seattle and see if we can grind the game down into an Art special
I don't know if this is a bold prediction or not but I could see a situation where Allgeier has more rushing yards than Bijan but Bijan has more total yards.
From what I've read the defensive line was good but the one v one WR drills heavily favored the Dolphins, which shouldn't be too much of a surprise with Hill and Waddle.
I know it was just a bunch of guys who probably won't get regular playing time, but that defense looked pretty good.
Yeah he really shouldn't be shocked one of the defensive starters didn't play well. Most of them don't.
The corresponding move. But yeah, you would have thought that Walker would have found a roster spot after starting 12 games last year.
I’m buying Mack Hollins stock as a good WR3 and I don’t feel good about this guys. it also feels like Art loves out breaking smash routes, deep posts, sails, benders, etc and maybe Des can throw those? please someone kick me in the dick bc this isn’t going to end well for me
Hate to see it: https://pagesix.com/2023/08/15/kim-zolciak-kroy-biermanns-money-woes-still-causing-fights/
Well, that sucked, but before the pick I loved everything I saw. Spreading the ball all over the place
