I'm all honesty.. If he signs an extension he's probably worth our second. I'm not sure I'd do it but just saying.

I think he's probably as good as the group of guys we are talking about at 8.

 

Yeah I mean make that trade, take best available at 8 even if it's another pass rusher... but if we can snag him for a 4th seems like a no brainer although I think it will take more.

Best move TD ever made imo was getting Tony for a 2nd rounder. High price to pay but not when you consider we would take a similar player at 8.

Scherff is Zack Martin. He'd struggle on the edge but I think he's a pro bowl RG

 

I think he can play right tackle but who knows.

Don't want any of the pass rushers at 8 that will still be around. Fowler and Williams will be gone. Sounds like it may be difficult to trade back due to the lack of elite players up top this year.

It's irrelevant because we won't trade a two. But I'd be happy with that level of player with our second round pick.

 

Getting someone of that level you could control 4-5 years on a cheap contract would be awesome.

 

Yea, I was assuming his extension would be reasonable.

Scherff being there at 8 is probably our best case scenario. There are apparently teams willing to move up for him.

Mayocks mock has a ton of OT's going in the 20's. I'd much rather trade back and get one of them if Fowler isn't available. Apparently there are some Blank quotes out there that make it seem like we wont touch Gregory even if he does fall to our 2nd pick.
