nah bro clemson guys are the brightest around, Im clearly the only one in here that thinks it was a reach pick.
Yep, oline is the only need. Stop trying to straw man and just admit that it would've been stupid to take a running back with so many other needs.
Avoid the question you were asked, that you brought about. I think Gurley would have been a better pick than Beasley at eight, that makes me a homer? Ok We should have traded back, but if not I'd rather take a closer to can't miss at a position of need than a reach in the top ten at the position of need.
The Falcons had to take an edge rusher. It would've been nice to take Leonard Williams, but Beasley was a good pick at 8 based on what was available. No one was trading for that pick.
If we had had gotten Williams, Fowler or even Sherf, I would be fine with it, but Gurley is a much much much better player than Vic and that's why I'm pissed
I'm not the one crying about my favorite pro team passing on what would have been a luxury pick from my favorite college team. Biggest needs were oline and pass rush. We addressed one of those. Ill complain just as much if we don't address oline or defensive backfield in the next round.
Same. I do not subscribe to the philosophy that you always pick what is the best/most talented at that moment.
No, I think we addressed a need. We didn't solve shit. Just like we would not have solved shit by taking Gurley at 8.
This all based on me having no faith in Beasley. I would rather have had Dupree or Armstead if we could have moved at all.
We have too many holes to afford to do that, especially in such a deep running back class. Gurley may very well be a perennial pro bowler, but so might Tevin Coleman in the 3rd or 4th
I agree that we should have traded back but Gurley was never the answer and your peers are acting like fussy infants because they had their eyes set on a #23 Gurley jersey.
I mean, we may have to go DE in 2nd now? We need an OT so bad. Peat to Saints. Fuck that's a good pick
agree that was stupid, but tbh except for a few who in here wanted Gurley? Ive been consistent about the RBs I want and where I want them. Gurley has durability issues and runs too upright for my liking.
people always say that stuff but i completely agree with you. no one needed to trade up to get the guys they wanted
I point to energyguy and jolly clearly whining about us not taking Gurley instead of us reaching on Beasley (who everyone had a 5 to the Skins btw)
lol reaching for Beasley you were picking at 8 a guy who was a top 10 prospect according to most analysts smh
This is the obvious sign that TD is still running the show Alright I'm done bitching. Let's all just hope this faggot balls and keeps Kroy off the field
Don't fucking lump us all in with Euro and him chest beating saying we're stupid not to take him. You're white knighting TD just to bitch about some of us valuing Gurley over Beasley. I would be happier if we took Bud at 8, still wouldn't have liked it, but I would have liked it more.
