Just remembered the other good story lines: - cousin (divorced) is bringing his gf of three months that he’s convinced is (the next) one. - two other cousins coming that don’t see eye to eye. Their dad died a few years ago and left each good chunks of change. The brother didn’t spend a penny and recently paid cash for his house in LA. The sister (multiple trips to rehab, DUIs before 21, etc) is upset at the brother because she blew her money on travel, cars, and who knows what else and is now realizing she has no money to buy a house. I’m ready.

In her email regarding thanksgiving she mentioned a bunch of ways everyone can help the environment like bringing food in recyclable or reusable containers, carpooling, buying sustainable and ethical meats, etc. I am itching to reference her Chevy Tahoe in a response again. Or maybe the ski boat.

Can't go home for thanksgiving this year so I've already told everyone here don't invite me over because I'm not coming. Going to go get BBQ, come back, brisket coma, sit on the couch in my boxers and a tshirt, drink beer and watch football. I can't wait. But i'll definitely get to go home for christmas and bring back some good stories.

He fixed it about two days later. Fun coda to this though is I deployed to the sandbox in July and in August my upstairs bathroom flooded into my ground floor and I'm pointedly not mentioning the previous post to my dad in relation to that. Because there's nothing more fun than wondering if your stuff is ok for a several days while you're also working 12 hour shifts 7 days a week.
