Keep me posted on logistics thx
PM me email address, thx. Please
Yo we need to schedule draft date and time since opening day is next week.
i'll take trout
Yes, setting that up now. Sorry one member is not around all weekend and we need him to draft. Earliest would be Tuesday.
Scooter out 2-3 months. The day after my keepers were due
Guys, come join the vast discussion you have been missing out on.
4. Sterling A
11. ashy larry
Traded away Matt Manning for Taylor Trammell in a dynasty. I'm real high on Manning but felt like that was a crazy good return for a pitching prospect. Although my fantasy pods seem kinda down on Trammell so
Wallcoq I'll play if you're still adding folks.
Join the thread please and answer the questions. Not sure what we have left, but I am guessing we’ll know more tomorrow during the work day.
Saw it was roto. I prefer points bc I'm a savage so I'll pass.
No it’s not. Looking like H2H at this point.
Right but I'm not a fan of 5x5. I like points like fantasy football, not categories.
Ah okay, but this is baseball.
Right, but there are points leagues available too. Single is worth X, HR is worth Y, SB is worth Z, K's earn negative points. Win is worth X, hold is worth Y, Save is worth Z. IP are worth points and ER get negative points. Just a different way to play and I prefer it bc thats what I've always done.
Just fucking with you. Yeah, I do like H2H and points better than Roto because there is more of a chance for a team who starts slow. You can run away with Roto quickly, but that’s only fun if youre within reach.
Always has bothered me that most K points leagues don't deduct for double plays
Jose Ramirez carted off the field
I have a draft in 30 minutes. I guess I'll avoid him with my 6th pick if he's still there.
Looked like he broke his leg off a foul ball
Definitely the smart move to avoid.
Let me know when Scooter goes tonight pls. Kind of curious how far he drops
This league would be a bad one to judge it off. This group is mainly NFL and NBA fans that just do this league to pass the time. Works for me bc I've won it 4 of the last 5 years. $150 buy in too so I'm a fan. But yea I doubt everyone in the league is aware of Scooters injury.
Got him in the 10th last night in my keeper draft (6 players kept per team) so more like 16th round in a redraft.
That's great value
I thought so too. He went in the same round at DeJong and one round before Moncada. I snagged Shaw in the 5th/11th with 2B eligibility in yahoo to hold court.
Can you even touch Scoots at this point? 2 months with a soft tissue injury is not something I want to buy in to
Had Jose locked in at 7th. Might go SP one now unless someone drops.
There are a lot of guys who are droppable after a week in the 15th round
Guess it depends on your bench/IL settings, but I'd be concerned about holding him through additional IL stints as well as diminished performance ...
I think half the season with a FA and half the season with him will be significantly better than a full season of the guy you take in the 15th
Not saying there isnt a price, more so speculating whether or not you get that half a season of typical production at all. Broken bone I'd be more inclined, hamstrings/groins/obliques
I'm just trying to make myself feel better ok?
My apologies, I'll move along ...
Had my 10-team keeper draft tonight. BA, HR, RBI, BB, SB, R for hitters. W, QS, SV, ERA, K/9, K/BB for pitchers.

BE - Rafael Devers

BE - Hyun-Jin Ryu
BE - Chris Paddack
Our rule of having to keep 2 pitchers thins out that crop in a hurry, and I ended up drafting my entire line-up (sans catcher) before I took a single pitcher (Bauer, Buehler were keepers). Pitching could be dicey and I'm not sure where I'll end up on SBs, but that line-up is as good as any I've ever drafted.
I’ve been waiting until the 8th or later to get my first P in all of my H2H Category leagues.
I had a similar strategy in my 12 team H2H, and then had Chris Sale fall to me at like 21st overall. Maybe the joke is on me, but it seemed crazy not to take him.
My infield is kinda trash though and I had Matt Olson as my 1B, which already has me kinda fucked.
When do guys become IL eligible? Should be soon right? I have Olson and Didi and need to free up spots.
It's absurdly late unless they changed a random rule. They technically don't have to make a roster moved until a day before the designated time they need the space.
Undrafted in my 12 teamer tonight, 26 rounds.
Yea guess itll be Wednesday for most teams. Seager is already on IL bc the M's had a real game.
Wow. I don't get it. Someone should at least hold him until they need an IL spot
So did Olson. I have no clue why a team would want to wait.
That's my initial plan, although I should have taken him. Wasn't thinking.
The following are all on my waiver wire after the draft in my league:
Are any of them worth dumping Barnes, Vizcaino or Miller for? Anyone know if Vizcaino is going to be the long term closer in ATL, or what Miller's role in STL is?
If healthy Minter would be the closer in ATL I believe. I also don't think that's a steady situation either way. Could easily acquire someone if ATL is in the hunt at the deadline too.
Pods seem to be talking up Brasier/Thornburg in BOS. I think I may drop Barnes for Colome ...
Really like this team. I think Smith and Robles should give you enough of a jump on SB, and you have several other guys that should chip in 10-15 each.
Rate my team - 14-team, 5x5 roto, one monthly transaction. Starters come from auction (24 players/$300 budget), bench is snake draft.

I don't know how much I'm going to play him early, but I'm kind of all in on Devers this year as a 3B sleeper. That position is so deep and I got him in the 150s, I think, but he's still so young and has massive talent surrounded by vets. Hope Cora gives him more PT against LHP this year.
Where are people on Sonny Gray as a bounce back guy? Seems like he should do better away from NY, but that park sucks.
