If anybody cares here’s the draft from the 6 spot in a 12 team 6x6 roto league. We start 5 OF, standard infield, Corner and Middle IF, DH and 2 Util and 9 pitchers with 7 bench spots. It’s a lot of players and rounds. Went a little too heavy on OF early as I didn’t see infielders that I liked. Spoiler
https://www.the-mainboard.com/index.php?threads/tmb-fantasy-baseball-thread-2022.183255/ We may or may not have an opening or two coming up.
Won't be able to do the TMB league this year, going out on top. You can boot me and have someone else join.
My infield is terrible and I took too many starters (and Tigers, for some reason), but oh well. 10 team keeper... Spoiler
I usually don't. Melendez should play more than most catcher only types that it's not as big of an issue as with guys who only play 90-100 games, and I like carrying an extra starter over a catcher I might play once a week.
No, I said $50 buy-in in the league thread. PM me your preferred online vendor and I’ll send a request to you for it.
Playing fantasy baseball for the first time in 15 years, took the last spot in a coworker's H2H redraft league, draft is at 5:00 p.m. EST today. Anyone have any trusted resources they can point me to, or alternatively, any players you feel strongly about this year? Spending this morning refreshing myself on draft strategy in between calls (could also use some help in this area also lol).
3B and OF are very top heavy this year; depending on your roster/scoring settings for your league, I’d recommend one of those two as your first pick. I’m biased, but I think Matt Olson is going to easily outperform his ADP, so he’s worth a reach in the second round if you have a later pick and are worried he’ll get snatched.
I would like to take a moment and compliment Yahoo Fantasy on not having the functionality of indicating starters 10 minutes before 1st pitch. Well done, fuckos.
Always fun when your fantasy season starts with two players leaving with injury. Looks like neither fried’s nor Contreras’s injuries are serious, but not great for my anxiety nonetheless!
I would leave. No one I know plays SV only anymore and I was a multi leaguer for a long time. As soon as we could, we moved to it. There’s so many good setup dudes with better peripherals than closers. It’s a win/win for every league.
It’s an available scoring category on ESPN? If so, we will be moving to that next year in the TMB league.
I haven’t played anything other than CBS in a looong time for that reason. We do CBS because it allows us to have a minor league team as well which really makes dynasty fun.
I’ve got 5 guys on the IL. Oneil Cruz looks to be out until sometime in August, so is he a drop? I crushed it last week with my pitching and streaming pitchers, so these injuries are really annoying my plans. Spoiler
I also have Seager so I think that’s 3 of my top 4 picks. If you own Kyle Tucker, I send my apologies.
For some reason someone in my league dropped Sean Murphy after the first week. That has worked very nicely for me with MJ Melendez choosing to suck so far.
What was happening with the dodgers last august? All of the paternity list players were on the dodgers last year
