Fuck I've been trying to watch season 1 waiting for it to come on Netflix or on demand but no luck so far
Sepinwall and Greenwald claiming season 2 is better than season 1. Not sure how that's possible but can't wait.
won't be able to watch until tomorrow (no cable + chargers play tonight - jk I won't be watching that game) but i cannot freaking wait! so excited about this season
Ray Romano's brother? Kansas City guy looking to expand their business north. When the Gerhardt family was going over their finances and whatnot early in the episode they talked about an outfit from down south being the reason for being a little light. That's them.
Ok, then. My expectations from season 1 have been met. That was as brilliant an episode as I could have asked for. I definitely look forward to the rest.
Nice nod to O Brother Where Art Thou? with the song. Apparently there were multiple nods to Coen Bros. movies throughout the episode but that was probably the most obvious one. Glad I watched that movie for the first time a month or so ago.
guessing most likely something like 'it was the 70s and everyone saw UFOs' or the KC outfit had a chopper out there
Just wondering if it will get referenced again or they just needed a reason for that guy to walk into the street.
So that version of the sirens' song at the end of the episode was done just for the show. And it was done by the showrunner himself, Noah Hawley. Solid.
Bokeem Woodbine dominated that episode. Great stuff. Also, I've listened to this song about 6 times today.
Great show. Random thing I noticed...the "Mike Zoss Pharmacy" across from the butcher shop. That was the name of the pharmacy in No Country for Old Men.
as someone mentioned, there's been callbacks to a whole bunch of coen bros projects the first couple episodes. that will continue, i'm sure
