Co-Worker just walked in with some Hardee's. I'm now sitting here with an unobtainable craving for a Frisco Burger. I used to crush on those things.
I always liked the Wendy's breakfast sandwiches. Not sure if it was me being much younger though, think they've been gone for 20+ years
It’s not a sandwich, but the banana pudding shake not being a regular item on the CFA menu is greatly distressing
Wendy’s used to hav a bacon cheddar melt. The discontinued it and later introduced the baconator. I preferred the former.
I had a honey butter chicken biscuit from Wendy's on Monday. They had a sandwich or two, but it's just so hard to find a Wendy's that's open for breakfast anymore.
Also, the Big Montana from Arby's. You can still add bacon to a big beef n cheddar, but that was a go to. Along with the Arby's chicken bacon swiss, which they still have but is currently garbage after they changed it like 10 years ago.
KFC used to have some grilled chicken sandwich back in the day with some type of peppercorn mayo that was delicious.
They’ll still make it you just need to know how to order it. Takes a while because they won’t have them ready but order a spicy chicken sandwich sub a biscuit for the bun.
I also remember Wendy’s in Athens had double stacks before everywhere else. They were $1. They werent the little bullshit ones they have now. For $5 you had the munchies covered for an entire day.
In high school I bought $20 worth of dollar double stacks and chicken sandwiches from Wendys. We ate like kings for a night and had leftovers I tossed the next morning.
The original Monster burger at Hardees before they started the thick burger shit. I rolled up to a Burger King the other day to get a double stacker and the woman said they don't have them anymore. So I guess put that on the list too.
Whataburger used to make a peppercorn ranch chicken sandwich that I swear I ate 5 times in the month it was on the market. I must've been the only one because it hasn't been on the market in nearly 10 years.
Yea we used to buy bags of them. They were bigger than the ones you get now. So good and cheap. I’m embarrassed to think back on how we pretty much lived on them.
