I drew the duck blue because I've never seen a blue duck before, and to be honest with you, I wanted to see a blue duck.
Hard to beat a drake mallard. It is the Labrador of duck species. Drake wood duck is really pretty. Pintails are cool

Harlequin ducks are probably my favorite. I’ve been fortunate enough to see them in Alaska and BC. Their plumage, habitat preferences, and behavior are really second to none in North American ducks imo.

Ducks and all waterfowl are pretty amazing. If you ever get a chance to watch them land in water, they always circle until the wind is against them to slow their landing.
