Pretty much every zombie movie, TV show, etc. ever made exists in a world where there are no zombie movies, TV shows, etc. I think there is maybe one movie out there where they were aware. One of the "funny" ones. Maybe Zombieland. I can't remember. Edit: Dead Set. That's the one where they were aware. Was an IFC mini-series about people in a Big Brother type show who ended up stuck in their Big Brother-esque house as a zombie outbreak happened.
This is exactly what I was going to point out. It's been a no more than 3 days since he got hit by a car. It is not unthinkable that he'd still be hurt.
you know, one thing that was never addressed in the other series or this one, yet... Is this an outbreak local to the America's or is it worldwide? I'm thinking the whole, 28 days later concept.
They need to pick it up soon. Getting sick of the crack head and his bullshit. Ready to see the military come in and lay waste. Also, it is really bugging me that that faggot pill head hasnt changed his clothes yet. Still rolling around in clothes that are too big and shoes that dont fit.
Haven't started it yet because I'm gonna buy them on Amazon, but what is the verdict so far? I've seen all TWD episodes and almost read all the comics so I assume I'm going to like it.
This show is just as retarded as the original. Hey, everybody's safe inside the fence? Might as well cut through it, no way that backfires!
Yeah the dad's been okay so far, but it seems like theyre trying to make him become the next Rick Grimes
So whoever was blinking the light in the house, in the end was that supposed to be the military that killed them or the first group of marauders out stealing resources?
Thinking the military. I for one like the slow play. All of wondered how it got started and what happened while Rick was in a coma, so now we are seeing it. Its only been 9 days. I think the "hospital" is where they are taking the weak and infirm to experiment on them.
So we're day 9 of the outbreak and the US military is already killing citizens en masse? This goddamn show.
When the episode opens, the military has already created the "safe zone", so I assumed she got it from them.
I wouldn't wait at all to stop the zombie apocalypse. I would probably never start killing innocent, healthy people.
I think this might be the Worst tv show I have ever watched. These military guys are comic book bad. Cancel this shit now
I think what bugs me the most is, if the military is operating with the level of extreme prejudice they seem to be, it seems like they would just be running attack helicopters and missile strikes left and right. Instead they are going to bail?
Travis is such a pussy it makes me rage. I would murder him and rail his fiance. The old man is a zombie apocalypse baller though.
Until he finds out his wife died without him.... He will do some dumb shit in a fit of rage that will parallel everything else we have seen in TWD.
A few thoughts... 1) the whole fast forward a week or so last week is bullshit. The whole premise of the show is to find out how the whole thing started, and yet it jumps from "several instances of people turning and riots" to "complete warzone where the zombies are already overtaking the army, etc.". 2) what was grandpa doing? Shaving off layers of skin off that dude? Even though they took his wife to quarantine its still pretty early in the chaos stage to resort to something like torturing a dude. Poor writing or show trying to be edgey? 3). Why did the kids suddenly feel like destroying furniture in that house? Pretty random 4) daughter would still get it. A lot
2). Did you listen to his dialogue and past story? 3) two drunk teens locked in a cage for two weeks... What else do they do besides bone?
Him talking over the sink got me good. I expected that they fled their country because they were escaping. Turns out he was the bad guy who did what he had to do. This makes him even more bad ass in my book. I was really hoping they weren't going to do the whole step sibling relationship thing. It's weird.
Thought that was a pretty solid finale. Curious to see how they're going to differentiate it from the regular series. Really like the boat idea from a logical perspective.
Like they just said on talking dead. That's a nice boat. Someone will want that boat if they make it to it. And how shitty would it be to lose your boat in the middle of the ocean if someone wanted to take it. What do you do then? From a zombie standpoint hell yea. But we've learned people are just as dangerous if not worse because we think and want for shit. Also, what the fuck was that red shit in the water? Is that coral? Blood? It was in patches so I'm guessing coral?
When they left their home and drive off with the gate wide open I thought "What a bunch of dicks. They just killed everyone in there".
Wouldn't you wait until you had a slight cough or something before you ended it all? I mean hell, how did she know it wasn't a scrape or something. Why did army dude shoot the daughter instead of, you know, the guy who had been torturing him?
The old man is really shitty anyways. His selfishness is the sole reason that military base fell by opening up the arena. He's the kind of person that makes things worse for everyone in the long run. Oh we need a hospital, too bad the perfectly good one we had is overrun with 2000 zombies thanks to the old fucker.
I'm also kind of annoyed at how little the showed the spread of the infection/dismantling of civilization. They focused on family time in Mayberry while the world fell apart, and we didn't see any of it. I wish Vince Gilligan would write a spin off of this show.
Love that the people we suppose to root for just released thousands of zombies that are gonna kill a lot of innocent people. But on a positive note that episode was more enjoyable than the others.
