Read the first two parts (or are they chapters?) last night before I went to bed. Wanted to read more but I was exhausted so I went to bed. Liked it. Spoiler Thought it was cool that it told the story from a few different viewpoints. I imagine they'll do this a few more times, but I hope it doesn't get to a point where it feels forced. Would rather they get into the story now and different characters can look back and remember where they were. Solid start, excited to really dive into it.

Up to "The Good of the Town, The Good of the People" (9% on kindle) Spoiler Gaddam this Junior guy is easy to hate. Also, how fucking weird is this Sammy bitch? Microwaving dolls and getting mildly retarded adults high/drunk to eat the pussy? Bizarre. Assuming the older Rennie is about to go Draconian and set up his own fascist state with Duke dead. Also imagine he'll keep Junior out of trouble. Fucking rednecks, even in Maine. I like the writing. The colloquial asides are entertaining and the details aren't excessive. Might have to go back and read some of those King books I avoided.

I thought the way that they were testing the height of the dome was intredasting. Popping off dummy warheads to see where it ended. Curious to see what this computer geek can do.
Read 3% last night. Really like it so far. Can't get over the fact that Barbie is a male character. HATE the kindle formatting, not having a table of contents, not being able to skip from chapter to chapter, etc. bummed out by that. Also, first book club book I'm actually reading during the actual month.

Been meaning to start reading the book of the month for a few now, and this one looks like a good one to start with, but I'm going to be reading on my iPad instead. Any ideas on how to estimate % on my iPad? (Edit - after posting that I realize that I'm an idiot and can divide page number by total pages - ill post back when I catch up to a few of you).
I use the kindle app on my iPad instead of iBooks so it will sync with my kindle too and it shows % but if you have all of your books on iBooks I don't think it's worth it at all to switch over
