14 team league, I drafted 14th QB: Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers (4th) Matt Stafford, Lions (8th) RB: Jamal Charles (1st) Marshawn Lynch, Seahawks (5th) Fred Jackson, Bills (9th) Michael Bush, Raiders (13th) WR: Andre Johnson, Texans (2nd) Reggie Wayne, Colts (3rd) Mike Thomas, Jaguars (10th) Steve Breaston, Cardinals(12th) Mike Williams, Seahawks (14th) TE: Greg Olsen, Panthers (6th) Defensive Player: Patrick Willis, 49ers (7th, first time drafting an individual defensive player, so unsure if I reached here) D/ST: Ravens (11th) K: Alex Henery, Eagles (15th) Standard scoring league, I think I made out like a bandit, $25 entry, and QB's went picks 1-7, and absolutely blew my mind. Nonetheless, thoughts on my overall squad please.
My league plays LBs too. Willis will be fine for you. You'll want a guy that gets around 8 tackles a game for steady production. Fred Jackson should improve this year. He was gone in the 5th in my draft. I'm still skeptical of Lynch, mainly because of Seattle's line. Charles and Andre will be great, obviously. Cannot believe QBs went 1-7
I was actually a few minutes late showing up to my draft, and I thought they were joking with me when they told me.
Not bad, you will be fine, I may have spent a few later picks on RB instead of WR because there is always a late round RB that blows up (Charels 2 years ago I got in the 15 th round and he won me my leauge) Last year it was Hillis, this year????
Solid for 14-team league. Your only issues will likely be having to deal with the headaches of frustrating offenses from week-to-week with Carolina, Seattle, Buffalo, Jacksonville. You will likely have a great QB duo if Stafford stays healthy so you could always deal one for an upgrade elsewhere.
16 Team PPR League. This is a big league. Changed up the lineup format this year to a complete five flex at WR/RB/TE. Basically means that you can start multiple TEs instead of just any combo of WR/RB. I drew the 7th overall pick QB - Matt StaffordTE - Jason WittenW/R/T - Jamaal CharlesW/R/T - Frank GoreW/R/T - Anquan BoldinW/R/T - Julio JonesW/R/T - Pierre ThomasK - Rob BironasDEF - New Orleans Bench - Robert MeachemBench - Emmanuel SandersBench - Brandon JacobsBench - Brent CelekBench - Jared CookBench - Ryan Fitzpatrick By Round (Overall):1 - Jamaal Charles2 - Frank Gore3 - Jason Witten4 - Matt Stafford5 - Anquan Boldin6 - Julio Jones7 - Pierre Thomas8 - Robert Meachem9 - Brent Celek10 - Brandon Jacobs11 - Ryan Fitzpatrick12 - Jared Cook13 - New Orleans DST14 - Emmanuel Sanders15 - Rob Bironas Overall I am pretty pleased. The Stafford pick seems high, but QBs flew off the board (second year in a row) when I thought they might have lasted longer. I had to choose from Stafford, Freeman, Eli, Flacco, Bradford, etc. and I went with upside and potential. If Stafford stays healthy he could easily put up top 10 QB numbers.
