Picking it up tonight. I took last year off, working from home the rest of the week and the wife is gone until Friday night.
The keepers are saving too many shots from close distance. So I end up dominating possession and making great passes that result in nothing. There are too many deflected goals. I haven't quite figured out how to prevent my tackles from going right back to them. Then they're launching shots from 20+ metres into the net every time.
Agree on the close shots issue. Last year the finesse shot was money and it seems they caught on to it. I am using more opposite post regular shots now on 1 v 1 scenarios against the keeper and I try not to get too close to him so I slow down which causes another issue, which is the amazing tackles from the back that the CPU does without getting any calls. I've also noticed the deflections a lot and the long shots but again most of my observations are from playing against the CPU.
I agree with this. The finesse shot was money last year but the goalie makes a ton of saves 1 v 1. I play 4-3-3 with a right footed left winger and right footed right winger. In last years game I cut inside with the LW and finesse shot for a goal. This year that is getting saved but the opposite corner shot with the strong leg from my right footed RW without finesse is having more success.
Can't take much credit for noticing this as SBTide is the master at this shot and I just followed in his style.
SugarShaun a right footed left winger and LEFT footed right winger would be inverted. My right winger is right footed.
Also I'm playing exclusively on World Class now against CPU and find it very challenging. I'm running a squad with average rating 82 on FUT and I just won all my matches in Division 4 but it hasn't been easy even though I was playing the Swedish League (ratings in the 60s-70s). For Division 3, I chose the Bundesliga 2 which already includes one match at Legendary difficulty.

Anyone know if they added World Cup qualifying for CONCACAF? I keep getting offered international management for Canada and one of the requirements is qualifying.
So from talking yesterday apparently at one point there was a pro clubs draw and play friendlies on TMB with people put into different pots and then use a randomized site to determine who goes to which club. That sounds like a blast IMO and the arguing about who goes in which pot would be about as fun as the games themselves. Anyone interested in this? We have enough people that play that we could probably get a few squads. If we could get 16-24 people for 4 teams of 4-6 that would be fun

In the cross note if you apply more than a pube hair of pressure the balls fucking flies across the box. Where as you tap pass or shoot and it goes virtually no where.
League is just not realistic to play all the way through and not fall apart. If we get enough then group stage plus knockouts is feasible though
