That guy won squad battles every week except one, I think. I don't have any idea how those guys are putting up scores that high (recurring theme - I'm pretty crap)
Think it was more than that. I know people have figured out the formula for max points being 85+% passing, 55+% possession, 10 shots on target, 10 corners and I don’t know how many goals
5 goals was always the max for getting reward credits, don't know if it's the same for squad battle points
Those guys go 45-0 for the week on Legendary (don’t think anyone really plays Ultimate regularly) and try for the formula above for those scores.
The message I received said that there was an exploit where you could get the computer defenders sent off for a second yellow.
Think the latest patch fixed that. I saw people bitching that it was bullshit that the computer couldn't get a second yellow for something now, but this makes more sense.
Anyone else having issues with the latest SBC? Say's I have it completed but every time I submit it says "Failed to submit challenge"
Figured it out, it was registering me as having met all the requirements but the app was wrong, had one too many players from one nation. Got zero rare gold players.
Pulled a regular Asensio from completing the marquee matchups, still not convinced that IF cards exist/can be pulled from packs

Reddit says that last year, the week of Thanksgiving was when they did the first batch of SBCs where you could get a TOTW player. Untradeable was just a high rated team and tradeable was that with an IF player. I bought up some cheap 83-84 guys. Their twitter was saying that there is a question about using third party services in the terms of service, so they will suspend the feature.
Did the marquee matchups SBCs at work today and opened the packs on the web app and got a crappy League One IF but still an IF so can’t complain
Same, IF Dirar (Fenerbace). Did a bunch of them from club players though so probably broke even in the end, though I did a whole league russian league team I probably could have sold for more.
Anyone have success playing with 3/5 at the back? Any tips you can give? I would like to be realistic in my chelsea career but I just have so much more success playing with a 4-3-3. I have tried 3-5-2/3-4-2-1 and different variations with a 5 man D and I never seem to play well.
3-4-2-1 seems to be popular for people chasing a goal but I couldn’t have any success with it. Felt too uncomfortable False 9 or 4-2-3-1 is my comfort zone. 3-5-2 seems to give me fits though
I tried 4-2-3-1 multiple times and never really had success with it. Midfield felt too spread out. 4-3-3 with one DM and 2 CM slightly in front of him just seems to work best for me but I have locked up the title with a few games to spare in my career mode so I might try a few funky formations and see if any work. On the 3 man I also seem to have all of my best games against teams that use it. I might struggle with a relegation contender one game and then destroy arsenal or man city playing a 3 man D. It’s weird.

Granted I’m not a competitive player but I never understood how a $3 million icon could improve your squad THAT much.
I did the SBCs for loans of Roberto Carlos, Henry and POTM Sané and just destroyed an 85 overall team on Legendary. They’re pretty amazing but that’s 3 not just 1. Henry is so good though. Playing with him I can see why they wanted to make him pretty much unattainable. I can’t imagine if they had made him as “easy” to get as Rui Costa and seeing him in tons of squads

You do the SBCs we’re talking about? There’s an untradeable TOTW guarantee and a tradeable TOTW guarantee (both guarantee 81+) as well as premium league pack SBCs (trade 11 rare gold players 30 chem for 12 player pack from league with 3 rare)
The league upgrades are very easy. Just choose someone at that position. Can be all 75 rated rare gold players but if you pick the right positions it’ll be at least 30 chem even if no links
