When they want you to lose in squad battles there is literally nothing you can do. The rewards are nice but it’s already getting old.
I got gold 1 because I missed some games earlier in the week. I don’t have time to play multiple types of games so I’m probably gonna hold off on SB and try playing online this week.
I haven’t tried for weekend League this year but last year I wasn’t good enough plus I don’t have time for 40 matches in a weekend I can normally get at least 2 matches in during the time frame that I get home but my wife hasn’t so it hasn’t been an issue to get the games in during the week

This morning was 4-0, aggregate score 21-0 in mix of pro and semi. Afternoon/evening was a mix or pro and world class. For the day my midfield had tons of touches. Think every match was 40/50/60 touches for the 3 of them and think my worst match was 88% passing accuracy and 52% possession Most were 93-95% and 60+%
Got Elite 2. Got nothing out of the packs other than a Shadow chemistry, some coins and Gueye. Will buy Alaba and Hummels and be done with the BL squad unless I come around insane coins to buy PEA, Lewa, Boateng, Reus or Robben. Starting a La Liga squad now. Got some nice players already for cheap. Spent a little on the RM guys like Carvajal, Navas and Asensio.
Bought Alaba as I was spending too much on my La Liga squad. Will save the rest in case Pulisic gets dropped in next week's TOTW.

Muller's passing is great and Werner is so fast. Volland is very underrated and I dont feel like I'm downgrading at all when he comes in but I usually never take Werner out. I also rely on fast wingers a lot and Bruma and Bellarabi are incredibly fast. Bellarabi has been the breakout star, he can run like the wind but also has a great shot when he cuts in. Adding Vidal has changed my team completely, he is amazing as a CDM but can come up top and play off Aranguiz and distribute as well.
Played 1 game of SB and lost 5-2 to a shitty team that was on low chem. Was literally nothing I could do. Defenders were ridiculous. Crazy how up and down this shit is. Looks like I’ll be playing some online seasons this week.
What difficulty you playing? I find that sometimes I have to alter my formation and attack them differently and go from 4-3-3 false 9 to 4-2-3-1 and it tends to make a difference
I play mostly pro... if it’s a low 70ish team I go to WC and if it’s anything above 84 I play semi pro. I just get frustrated when a team has low chem and their defense is almost impossible to break down... and when you do the keeper saves it.
Sounds like me. 84+ is typically semi, 81-83 Pro, 70s WC though I’ll look over roster for 80 and 81. 81 that’s an average team win Gold bench, sure WC. Stacked 81 with a bronze bench, fuck that. Pro or semi pro if it’s really stacked. Friday was a night like that though that it felt like I couldn’t do anything
So I just got Griezmann in a pack. Do I sell him for roughly 450k and invest that money into improvement for 352 (Kasper, Azpilicueta, Stones, Keane, Fernandhino, Gundogan, Sane, B Silva, Carzola, TOTW Morata, and Jesus)? or do I keep for potential future fun?

Sell, improve current squad some, hold onto half of those coins, buy him back in a couple months for half the price

Did a couple SBCs last night and pulled Martial, was disappointed until I saw his price. Also got Manolas who sold for 14k. Son went for 24k and had a couple Clynes that went for 5500 each so I quickly built my coins up. Also sold a bunch of guys that are in random leagues from one of the bigger countries to make a lot. If that doesn’t make sense, there are SBCs for different leagues. Ones for having 5 different leagues, 7, 9 and 11. So you need guys in lots of different leagues. Argentinians, Brazilians, French and Spanish in random smaller leagues are selling above their worth right now so definitely recommend selling if you don’t plan on doing the SBC or if you’ve already done them
Just ordered FIFA 18. Skipped 17, last was 16. I've never really played FUT before but I'd like to. Any starter guide bible out there to read or just general tips? I'd like to have my arms around it before I waste resources not knowing what I'm doing.
If you have any EAS coins (if using same login as previous FIFA games) buy the coin bonuses so that when you play you will get extra coins each game. I did all of them and have played over 100 games and still am getting coin bonuses. This is something that will help build your coins quicker. Also buy all the balls and jerseys from there. Even if you just sell them all that’s extra coins
Unless you’re doing EPL, sell sell sell. Don’t remember if it was ITT or in text but Chile said when he pulls a nice EPL player he just sees coins. Too expensive to build a good team.

Both Futhead and futwiz are both thinking SIF Kimmich and IF Goretzka for TOTW 4. FUTWIZ also had IF Pulisic at CAM. Both also had IF Lewa but fuck being able to afford/pack that.
IF Pulisic as my supersub and IF Goretzka in the midfield with IF Aránguiz would be incredible. Love Goretzka
Going to be keeping my eye out for good cheap IFs from LaLiga and Ligue 1 also as those can be leagues that you can build nice teams. Last year the N’Zonzi IFs were (insert fire emoji) Montoya, Iborra, Orellana, Rafinha and Aspas were all cheap and good also
Squad battles has been frustrating this week so far with the teams I’m playkng. Even the lower rated teams are just stacked teams with bronze benches. So I’ve had to play a bunch of pro and semi pro games
Not everyone gets same squads. Supposedly just depends on what time you update because I’ve seen where some will have same but they updated right around same time
Snagged Kramaric for 19k. Missed on ones for 13k and 16k Kramaric is RW 88 with Hunter, 89 with Catalyst or Maestro, 90 with Artist or Engine
Possible investment advice.....Kaka is holding press conference in 2 minutes. It feels and sounds like retirement is coming. Scratch that....he is not renewing his contract with Orlando City. No formal retirement
Gonna pass on Wagner. Just a big physical guy. His shooting and physical stats are great but no pace or passing, just not my type of striker. Will keep Werner, Muller and Volland off bench for now.
IF Philipp will be my next BL buy. Have Bruma and Ribery now. Not very impressed with Ribery, I start Bruma more. Got Zuber as a sub but will give him some PT to see how he performs also can be used at LB which is great for depth. I really like Zuber's defensive stats as I use my outside mids a lot in defense.
