Why did Phyllis call yesterday crying in gratitude for everything everyone has done for her and her husband? Went on and on and Paul replayed the call at the end of the show. Sounded like somebody died or is very sick idk just seemed weird
Holy hell at them having Larry from Shelby on there missing bottom teeth, asking him political questions and who will be tammy's next husband
Paul may have had a heart attack or a casw od oopsie poopsie on air apparently. Quickly went to break and replaced
Paul Finebaum chimes in on Nick Saban-Jimbo Fisher relationship The ESPN/SEC Network analyst said there is respect there, but he doesn't believe the two coaches are close. Alabama is taking on Florida State in the 2017 season opener for both teams on Sept. 2, and many are calling it the best opening game in the history of college football. Adding to the storyline is that Seminoles coach Jimbo Fisher was an assistant to the Tide's Nick Saban at LSU, and Saban hasn't lost to one of his former assistants yet in any head-to-head head coaching matchup. ESPN/SEC Network analyst Paul Finebaum made a live appearance on SportsCenter on Friday morning, and discussed the relationship between the mentor and the pupil. "I think it's friendly, but not close," Finebaum said when asked about the dynamic between Saban and Fisher. "Saban tried to hire Jimbo when he first went to Alabama, and Jimbo said, 'Thanks. I've already worked for you one time.' Any Saban assistant would say that. He's the greatest coach in our game, but he's also one of the toughest people to work for." Finebaum expanded on the thought a bit, and said the relationship isn't icy, either. "I think they have a lot of respect for each other," Finebaum said. "Jimbo, of the Saban disciples, has won a national championship. I remember that night in Pasadena, and you could sense that Nick Saban was very proud when Jimbo won the national championship. Of course, he might have been happy that he had beaten Auburn - his cross-state rival. I think they have common respect." Finebaum went on to say that Alabama has been known to open the season with big games, but that he believes this is Saban's toughest opener. "There's no getting around the difficultly of this game for Nick Saban."
Never should’ve gone National in the first place. Not that i would’ve turned ESPN down, but the show doesn’t translate on a national level. So much better when it was a bunch of local rednecks talking shit to the other fanbase.
It's hard to take anything Clay Travis writes about ESPN seriously given his vitriol toward the network. I wonder where the sourcing on this one came from?
Not going to happen. I had a light bulb moment the other day when I was looking for an electronic World Cup bracket and came across this: http://www.espnfc.com/fifa-world-cup/4/bracket ESPN's bracket on their website dedicated to soccer hasn't been updated since the last World Cup in 2014.
I imagine this is her. https://www.cbs42.com/news/local/in...n-highway-280-crash-near-sylacauga/1601862443
Been a rough month for finebaum callers, Ed from Connecticut the old UGA fan who would call in everyday and just ramble on for forever has passed away
Finebaum had to be in heaven last night, an entire offseason of angry belligerent Bama fans calling in
Finebaum said something about something a Clemson player said. Lawrence quoted it and said "Unprofessional." That's all it was.
I-Man announced today that he's entering the transfer portal and changing his allegiance to Ole Miss. Tough week for the aubs.
